New year's night it is!
2021 will give us the last kiss,
Watch us all enjoy it's last minutes,
Then off it goes! It will vanish!
This year was full of sorrow with a pinch of happiness,
Adding a cup of horror, it was gourmet,
The vaccines were the best we could witness,
The virus made us dance like show puppets!
2020 and 2021 are THE years in history,
Pandemic, quarantine, lockdown starting with fire;
These years went like fantasy tales of fairy,
Snatching from us, our living's desire.
I don't know what good it is to make a wish,
A wish to finally get the joy all of us deserve,
A wish for all the pain to vanish,
A wish for the next years to keep happiness in their reserve!

Okay so I think this was a great poem here. This sums up all the misery and sufferings that humanity went through in 2020 and 2021 and I love how it reflected all our desires for 2022 to be a good year- at least a better year than 2020 and 2021. Anyway here are very few critiques I have for you.
I recommend separating the poem into stanzas. That would actually help to bring the rhyme scheme out in a better way. Otherwise, it's being a bit difficult to decipher it.
I am not sure about it(Never take tense advice from me) but the tense change from this line to the second struck me a bit. Like you are starting with present tense and saying it's new year's night. That actually means that it is already 2022. And then you are writing about 2021 in the future tense. Maybe you can actually make that new year's night into new year's eve. Then, the tense is going to be fine I think. The line will be "New year's eve it is".
I don't think gourmet is the best word but I don't see any alternative too. See if you can change it.
Does history and fairy perfectly rhyme? I am not very sure but for me, it didn't. Maybe you can add 'misery' or maybe 'mystery'
If I am not wrong, this should be living desire or maybe life's desire.
Overall, it portrays the hope very well. Happy new year to you in advance!

Reading this poem, it reminded me of how much of a year was 2020-21, so much happened because of covid-so much lost. It was really THE years. The use of rhyming words was easy to read and went pretty well with the flow of your poem, a truly fun read!
Let's hope 2022 is the joyous year without the horror of this new virus, it's the only thing we can do pretty much. Happy holidays, I hope you've a blast of a new year!!!
