Prison (Haiku) Review: :)

Nice rhythm to start out! It had the perfect 5-7-5 syllables nice!I laughed a little at it.

Short Ode to Coffee:
Okay I noticed there was a rhyme scheme. Nice. And that the rhythm is pretty well done. I almost got confused after "And in return when I'm tired...." But then I understood the rest of it.
I like the last line "I dunno, I'll ask the mayor"
It made me laugh.

But you sre missing some punctuation in this. (To be honest just add more commas when you deem it necessary don't be scared).

Anyway overall these both were good! Great job! Keep writing :)

hey. prithamrittika is here for a review. firstly I want to tell you I am very bad in writing reviews. your poem short and nice. the second poem is cute. but maybe you can write the first part more good. the second one is nice than the first one. coffee......... actually I like coffee very much and how you present the coffee, it's really very funny and cute. your presentation about coffee is very beautiful and I like the idea. nothing more to say. overall it is a nice poem.
keep writing..... :-)

Thank you!

I loved your poem. I you were going for a stereotype then you could've included donuts.
Did you went for a crazy, lazy bad cop or a normal cop?

Ok, well Hello RavenLord,
Myjaspercat here for a review....

So, I'm not trying to be rude but this seems rather stereotypical. My first concern would be, how do you know what a police officer would write about, unless you are one. However, I do like the way you depict a police officer, I think of it as rather cute. Now that that is out of the way, onwards...

So for the first poem, I thought that it was cute and I really liked it. My only problem with it is the last line, to me it just doesn't seem to flow right.

For the second poem, I really liked the idea of how you portrayed coffee. I think my favorite lines have to be the first and second lines, they really just spoke to me (as someone who drinks coffee) I don't particularly like the last few lines of the second poem but that is just my opinion.

Anyways, other then that, good job. I really like it. Continue writing and Good luck.

This is fantastic. Like really really simple. I love it. It's actually funny, and it's almost...fanciful? I'm not leaving a review, because the longer this is in the Green Room, the more opportunities people will have to read it.

Thanks so much! :D

I really enjoyed how you showcased coffee, a mundane concept, and gave it such power. The coffee controls a large portion of the speaker's life. For one, it allows the speaker to maintain their job, their source of income which in turn allows them to purchase more coffee. So, its effects help support itself. The coffee, ironically, takes precedence over the speaker's nerves which are an internal part of the speaker so the coffee seems integral to the speaker's well being. And yet, it can be just as easily tossed with rotten meat. It's interesting how something so important can be thrown away like at a moment's notice. Good job, RavenLord!
