In Old Stuff

Hello, how may I help you?" the woman at the counter asked.
"We wan see da babies!" my older sister almost shouted in a baby voice.
"We wan kiss 'em!" her friend, Amanda, added.
The woman smiled and told the three of us to head through the door to sign in. We could catch glimpses of fur through the fences as we came out into the small yard. We waited behind a crowd of people waiting to buy small cups of hot dogs or to sign up of interactions. Native American music played in the speaker over head as we came to the small table. As I waited to sign my name on the waiver, I glanced past the woman signing us in and met the bright orange eyes of Iya through the fence. She stared at me for a few moments before trotting back out of sight. By then it was my turn to sign before we all huddled next to gate and waited eagerly.
"None of you have on any dangling earrings, right? Those have to come off," the guide told us. One woman scrambled to quickly remover hers. Then to my sister and her friend she said, "Can you take those nose studs out?" They both shook their heads, not able to remove them at that moment. "Well, be careful or they will remove them for you."
Finally it was time to go in. We moved closer to the enclosure and now we had a good look at the pack. The paced near the gate, ready to greet us. Two staff members went in before us, and then the third began telling us, "go, go, go," and we all hurried into the enclosure while the other staff members were distracting the three wolves.
The free staff member led os to a round tub turned upside-down tub and told us to gather around it. An instant later they were there. Iya was the first to jump up onto the tub, making a full circle as she gave a big wet kiss to everyone gathered around. When she came to me I was almost knocked over as her large paws came down on my shoulders and she pressed her sharp snout into my face. I put my arms out to stroke her sleek black fur while supporting her so that she didn't fall off of the tub in her excitement. She she began to make another circle Nanouk jumped up. He was bigger and broader than her with brownish black fur and yellow eyes. He also made his rounds kissing and jumping on everyone. Soon Iya was back to me and she threw her head up and threw her chest into mine. I could hear Amanda on the other side of me saying 'da babies!' as Nanouk gave her lots of kisses.
Last was Dakota, the picture-perfect wolf. His fur was the standard gray and white and his paws here like two huge fists. He did not come up onto the tub though. Instead and simply watched for awhile.
Then suddenly Iya jumped off and hopped onto a bid block of wood. we all gathered around her and watched as one of the staff members got her to roll over onto her back and gave her a wonderful tummy rub. Then we were free to move about the enclosure, tripping over deer legs and piles of fur as we went. I stood by Nonouk who stood on his own wood block. He began kissing me, leaving great rivers of sticky saliva on my face. I felt myself growing nervous as I began feeling his teethe on my head as he fit my entire head in his mouth. Laughing, I backed away from him as one of the staff members came of put him on his back to assert her dominance and scold him for gnawing on my head. A few moments later she brought out a peppermint and handed it to him. Iya saw and quickly jumped up and snatched it from him. Then she spat it out, only interested in keeping it away from Nanouk. She was the smallest of the three, but she was the alpha wold of their small pack. The staff member pointed to Iya's ears, which were small and curled. "Her brothers chewed on her ears when they were pups," she explained, "they never grew back right." With her rounded ears and sharp nose she looked very exotic.
Now Dakota had joined us and he stood on the block with the other two. Amanda continually held her arms out to him and puckered her lips, but every time he took a b-line for me. Of the three he was the shiest as he had not come from a good home. My sister was shocked, saying that the last time she visited the habitat, Dakota hadn't come near anyone, and was jokingly annoyed with me.
It seemed like only a minute before we all had to leave the little pack. We all filed out sadly, but we were all so happy to have had the chance to interact with such lovely company.

This was nice to read. The fact that Dakota connected with specifically you was absolutely adorable! :) It shows how wolves can form friendships with creatures they like juast like people can.
There were a few blips though. One of the biggest things that bothered me was this sentence:
She she began to make another circle Nanouk jumped up.
I don't understand what it's supposed to say. Is it supposed to be "As she"?
Also, there are a couple spelling errors: "os" in the 4th full paragraph, "teethe" in the 6th, "wold" also in the 6th, and Nanouk/Nonouk's name changed slightly.
This was a very good story; it just needs some proofreading. :)

Thank you! And yeah, I'm very bad about proofreading lol.

Aww, so cute :). This was a very good description of your visit. I really want to go now after you wrote this.
One little suggestion:

I began feeling his teethe on my head

teeth should be spelled without the e.
That spelling mistake is the only criticism I have with your piece.
The descriptions were very vivid and I thought that I was there with you and those wolves.
Anyway, nice job and keep writing!

Why do I always add that e? xD I know it's wrong but it just happens.
Anyway, Thanks!

aww!

My spelling is wobbly. It's good spelling, but it wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong places.
