Stranger

This piece is simple yet beautifully written, and an incredibly interesting statement about the different versions of ourselves that come out during different situations and at different points in our lives, and how those versions often bear little or even no resemblance to those which preceded them. The fact that you labeled them both 'stranger' intrigues me - the fact that neither the clearly preferred version nor the less divine one that follows are the man's original (or 'default,' for lack of a better term) self. The final line is especially impactful - he might not remember this as he changed into his vastly different selves, but she, regardless of how many times she herself changes, always will.

It's simple, but executed well. I love that the voice seems to be struggling with their feelings, a double-edged sword. It can be seen at first like a wonderful love, then turns into something dark. Maybe an abusive relation, maybe a simple argument. And the way you reverse it when you switch to the second part is done to the point it sends chills up my spine. Many people I think will be able to relate to this beautiful narrative as short as it is. The only thing I would have to point out is to work on your transition a bit. I think you have the talent to make it stand out more and let it flow the story along.
