Burned

In Poetry

Sick and tired of all these games,,
Tell me when we’ll meet again.
I can’t decide if it’s too late,
To try to rearrange our fates.

I wish I could go back time,
But I’m afraid of what’d I’d find.
Is it to late to go back now,
and fix all mistakes somehow?

*You left me bleeding on the floor
Hungry hearts left wanting more
There’s a lesson to be learned
Play with fire you get burned.

I was out for love and now,
It’s all revenge I’d do without.
Trying to find out what was wrong,
But it’s just taken way too long.

You were everything me,
You filled my heart and made me see:
There is way more to this world,
That meets the eye, now it’s just hurt.

*CHORUS

There is so much to this life,
That I could do without,
But I will not give up now,
Just wish I could go back somehow….

*CHORUS

Impressing! I love it. It's smoothe and has original rhymes (not forced or anything) and it really does make you think plus I love dark stuff.
Keep on writing!!

Like a lot of your stuff, JC - this is dark and it makes me think. That's a good thing, btw. :)

I like the chorus a lot, and the RHYMING!!! Yippee, I love ANYTHING with rhyming!

Is there a tune that this goes to?
