The first thing I'd like to know is just what you're talking about. It's a great poem, and I like the mystery, but it's confusing. Maybe you should clarify on some of it?
Second thing, what are the asterisks and everything else for? Decoration?
All in all, it was really great. I love the title! And the mystery it leaves is pretty amazing. Great work!
Hello.
The first stanza caught my attention, which it should. There was nice imagery throughout your poem.
At first, I thought your title was a typo, but you used "inure" again in your poem. I don't know this word and can't find it. Merriam-Webster says inure means... to accustom to accept something undesirable or to become of advantage. Neither definition makes sense here. What were you trying to say?
Also, what are the asterisks for? You put it after "hide" both times. Were you trying to mark that these lines didn't quite fit the rhyme? If so, I think it's okay. Reading it through, I hadn't noticed. What I did notice is that the second stanza has a different rhyme scheme than the others. Then, one of them doesn't seem to have a rhyme. That's fine. There are plenty of poems that don't.
I did like it, though. It was an interesting topic, very original.
