How can I sing
with you covering my mouth?
How can I dance
with you holding my arms?
How can I blossom
with you cutting me down?
How can I run
with you tying my legs?
How can I see
with you shielding my eyes?
How can I grow
with you pushing me down?
How can I live
with you holding me back?
No
No more,
I will sing
I will dance
I will blossom
I will run
I will see
I will grow
I will live
my own life
And you can't hold me back,
not anymore
I can,
no
I WILL do it all

I love your twist on the common theme. Between the arguing with yourself and the rhetorical questions towards your anxieties to the determination to overcome the things that are holding you back, you describe the way you feel and the way you fight back against the things that keep you from doing what you aspire to. The fight with your conscience is a relatable struggle and you express your personal experience well.
This was an awesome read. The way you have structured the questions made me to read further, the poem showed great prominence in stressing the factors that hinder the speaker to grow.
Your words expressed the anger and longingness to live a life the speaker desires to, it was acceptable and relatable.
The theme got well expressed in these following lines:
" No
No more,
I will sing
I will dance
I will blossom
I will run
I will see
I will grow
I will live
my own life"
These lines held the grasp to the poem. The way you ended in a courageous way was gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your poem. Good work.
This poem really reflects my personality. It inspires us to not get influenced with peer pressure and live our life the way we want to. This poem has in itself a deeper meaning and is easily understandable for anyone.
Overall the construction and form of the poem is well written and thought of.
I loved how you put "I WILL do it all "
Again, one should learn from it that you can and should do whatever you want with your because it is yours and not anyone else's. You cannot give your life's remote control to any person. You were not born to impress anyone.
And as always,
Great work!
Thanks for sharing the poem about how a person finally overcame the efforts to hold her back. Unfortunately, such efforts can come from parents, siblings, so-called friends and other family members who feel that someone else's progress in life diminishes them in some way. Such persons will try to stifle any sign of joy, growth, or effort and as the poem points out, might succeed for a time. But in this case, the person breaks free and can finally attain the fullness of life that every human deserves.
I like the way the poem is organized It leads to a vibrantly fast paced reading and conveys that determination of the speaker to no longer be victimized. The examples of dance, singing, growth, sight, running all very nicely symbolize the efforts at self fulfillment at correspond to them. We sing and dance with joy. We run towards our goals. We blossom when we make progress. We express our views with our mouths as our right top freedom of thought and speech. Interference with all these is definitely malicious and is rightly understood and described as such.

No No more,
[No! No more!]
And you can't hold me back,
not anymore
[and you can't hold me back,
not anymore.]
Looking forward to reading more of your work.
