Memories That Fade

Death comes to us all
for once we shall all fall
to young, to old, to rich, to poor
to many others and many more

Laughter and sunshine locked within
sometimes vibrant to kith and kin
memoirs of the past begin to fade
as the farewell of life is bade

As life leaves along with it's glow
then you shall truly come to know
forever forgotten shall your memories lay
even through the dark of night and the light of day

Memories are to be made
and memories are to fade
they linger in the crevices of your mind
to you they shall forever be bind

I have writer's block. I can't write. It is the will of the gods. Now, I must alphabetize my spice rack.
