Ink runs across my skin.
Little rivers of something so pretty.
Something so dangerous if it was real.
But it is real.
A person yells,
Another punches me.
One mutters words,
Sinking into my brain.
I panic.
My eyes go blurry,
With hot tears.
Please stop,
I gasp.
One pulls out a knife.
They slice my cheek.
Different,
they say.
A hunchback of this place.
One whispers.
I shake,
While my skin grows hot.
I panic,
Hardly able to move.
One beats my ribcage,
While I lay crumpled on the ground.
Another holds my head straight while they cut a smile into my face.
A joke, a jester.
Is what they say,
As my mouth bleeds.
Broken ribs and a fake smile couldn't stop what happens to me.
Skin grows hot,
A living pool of magma.
Blades rip through my back
And through my skull.
My fingers have fallen off,
A Frankestien of messy parts.
With a twist.
They realize what they did,
But then one says words that are ice against my skin.
You are nothing.
Echos through my brain.
But then one runs.
So do the other two.
As I lay on the ground,
A mess of scales and blood.
I've got you.
A purple blob says.
We've got you.
A white-gold one says.
And the blood goes away.
And the horrid thoughts leave.
And.
The.
Pain.
Leaves.

This poem uses amazing imagery and perfect prose to display your inner emotions and completely real life experiences that we all know you really went through in your life and are venting about right now through your poem. I feel bad that you had to- em? What's this? "AN-THIS IS NOT, NOT, NOT ABOUT ME. I did this for fun." Oh... Okay... Anyway, I liked the way this was written, but I felt really bad about what happened to yo- I mean the protagonist of the poem. It feels like the antagonists of this poem who were basically murdering you had not done it wantonly, but rather out of a caustic hate that they had developed out of their own arrogance. They didn't necessarily want to hurt you, they just wanted to vent their anger with their lives in a way that was easier to them than expressing it creatively like you or I would. That is why I feel that the message this poem offers the reader is very important: Purple blobs will always be there to save your life if ever you come close to dying, and you should also trust white-gold blobs as well. They are really kind and truly care about you as an individual.
Jokes aside, this poem truly is nothing less than excellent. I expected no less of my fried @Flumdiddle. Have a happy Review Day. A revoir!

Sorry I haven't been on for a while. My term just started up again and I am going to school full time and working part time so my schedule is really hectic. Just stopped by to say that I have* been reading these! Thanks for tagging me in them! I am always excited to see what I have waiting for me when I come back to this site
This was so nice! (in a creepy way, haha!) I can see where people can relate to it, and parts of the flow were choppy--but in just the right places! I enjoyed how it read and it painted a vivid picture for sure. Reminds me of bullies and or the general public/society's norms they try to force upon people. It is good!

I want to say it's inspired by one of my poems, but I'm not as grotesque as this was, but I definitely love this poem. Sometimes I feel like everyone thinks I'm nothing, and sometimes I believe it. But I love how you added what they did to this person, and explained what they used. You did amazing Fluma, I'm glad it wasn't you who had this happen. Keep up the most fantastical work!:)
