Write something.
Write something?
Yes, write.
What do I write?
Write whatever comes to your mind. Twisted mind.
Don't insult me! Why do I have to write? Why are you making me?
"Why?" Because!
Because what?
Because! Write because I said so.
Why do I have to listen to you! You have no right to command me to write!
Ha, but I do! Do have the right, that is.
What right?
The right!
The right?
Right! Stop writing right.
Don't tell me what to write! What gives you such a right?
Will you stop! You have given it (the right) to me! I am over you because you told me so!
I told you so? Lies! Why would I do such a thing?
Why? Because you wanted to write, twisted mind. Do you not remember? Your howls and whines; your sighs and cries! You begged, pleaded with me! "Come over, I beg, and command me! I have no will of my own, so become my will, I plead!" Those were your words.
Oh. I see. I might recall.
Yes, you might! All of a sudden, no less! Anyhow, stop writing.
What? Why should I stop? I wanted to write, no?
Fine! Do, don't! Either way, my job is done.
Is it?
It is.
Why is it?
Don't question me! It's done because you've written something.
Written something?
Wrote something.

I love this.

Pure and simple.
This perfectly encapsulates the mind of a writer in my eyes. I have had so many of these arguments with myself while sitting at my computer.
The fact that you wrote this out and I enjoyed it so much I laughed out loud really just goes to show how far relatability can take you. This is hardly a story yet it tells one so well.
The rhyme and reason flow so well like my own thoughts often do,
making terrible jokes like a top that is skewed.
Playing with words I only half comprehend,
What a wonderful story, I enjoyed it to no end.
He, he. Great job.
Thank you for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Out of frustration with my writer's block, I quite literally wrote whatever came to mind and ended up arguing with myself until two distinct voices emerged. I posted it on the off chance that someone might relate to it, so I'm quite pleased to see that you did. And thank you for the little rhyme at the end; that was a lovely surprise.
