Lost

E - Everyone

In Poetry

Around I go

in circles

I know

I'm not going anywhere,

but,

personally,

I don't care.

I don't know

where I am

or where

I will end up,

but isn't that

what life is?

No one

starts

knowing

what will come after,

and those who think they do

know the least.

So,

yes,

I am lost,

but I don't want to be found,

because then

I know it is over.

Hey there, Sophia! :)

Okay, so first, I just want to say well done for writing such an awesome poem. This is really a great piece, because it's sort of exploring the meaning of life in a new perspective. I like how you left it vague, so the reader can apply personal experiences to make it a personal poem. Also, the poem had a sense of tranquility that I really liked, like the narrator is at peace with the knowledge that they're lost. It makes it seem more like wandering than being totally confused and bewildered. So great job! I really enjoyed reading this poem! :D

Keep it up,

Hello!

So I saw NaPo in the description and screamed YES NAPO anyways moving on

I think my biggest nitpick with this is the constant line breaks. See, I'm the type of person that if you have a line with one or two words, I suggest you either add on to it or you combine it with a previous or proceeding line. Since there were so many single worded lines, I suggest you do a lot of line combining. The thing is that it makes the poem flow easier, gives the single word more strength because it isn't standing alone, and it just reads so much better.

Moving on, I think that was my only nitpick. On the poem itself, I enjoyed it very much! I think it had a simple message with a simple flow that was steady, despite the weird line breaks. The poem was structured oddly, but read well, and the overall point of it was delivered at the end. You used nice examples to signify how the narrator is lost and while I do think you could've added in some more imagery, I found this to be overall enjoyable. :) Thank you for sharing!

I really liked this piece. I especially loved how you had one or two word on their own, it really helps the poem to stand out. However, I think you used it far too much and it kind of lost meaning the more I read on. This happens when you use a English technique more and more. It didn't make the poem bad just hinder it sightly.

I really loved this ending. It seemed very bleak and questioning which is something I am drawn to in a poem.

I also would have liked to seen a little more imagery and various word choice. The poem seems rather thin. By having metaphors or smilies you help to give a poem more depth and I feel that this poem was lacking in the department.
