I voted for monkey, but kangaroo was my second choice; I could just see the mascot hopping around with a writing notebook in its pouch. ;)

I just can't picture a dragon being the mascot. Too much fantasy for my taste, but whatever. :D

Monkey monkey monkey! A good combination of cleverness and fun. ^_^

Kangaroos are awesome too though... But yeah, I don't like the dragon idea terribly much. ;)

I'm one of two that voted kangaroo.

I thought the kangaroo needed a little loving, but yeah, the monkey is awesome too!

Monkey, monkey, monkey!

Three reasons:

1. Nate is big chimp.
2. Monkeys are cute.
3. YWS IS a bunch of monkeys! :D

Wow, this could really come down to the wire, and possibly force us into a third round. Good to see the Kangaroo getting some love though; made me sad to see 0 votes there for a while.

I wonder when I should close the voting... at 100 votes? After two weeks? After one month? Should've thought about that before. I guess just until a winner becomes clear, or it becomes clear that we need to go into a final found.

So, is YWS going to actually get a mascot? Or is this just for fun?
But that is not the question. Why we are here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Godot to come. -Beckett

OTHER!

I choose a Native American chief (like Chief Illiniwek). We shal use them as a symbol, not a mascot, and it shall be done in a respectful manner, but we shall remember the heritage of those people who came before us. HAIL THE CHEIF!!!!

PC be dammned, use Native Americans as symbols!
