Good question, @sylrie! :] It's encouraged to use the prompt as the first line (so we can easily see which prompt is being used), but we'll still consider submissions that don't use it as the first line!

@TheScribe, Good questions! For posting your work, we would ask that you wait until after the contest is over to post your work, since it's such a short time frame.
Also, I would say that as long as it's not graphic in its violence, it should be fine with the right trigger warnings. Especially since peeling potatoes is a normal occurrence, sentient or not.
@ForeverYoung299, I would say try to stick to the prompt, but if you want to change the wording slightly to better suit your idea, that’s also okay too ^^
