"Hm. Scarce reef, wind blowing off-shore, east, no shore break, and the waves seem to be good 3-4ers, maybe with the occasional 5 footers. Yes, seems like a good day to go out. Don't you think?" She wasn't really talking to anyone in particular, only herself.
