What will the contest look like?
This is a bracket-formed competition! Brackets from the previous years can be viewed here and here. This year's bracket will be formatted the same way, and I will have the link posted when the groupings are set up.

Last year's April Madness can be found here.

I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

"For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion."
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
