we formed this globe together always with others we found our forms you were magma too hot to touch, unstoppable i was atmosphere insubstantial, transient
you formed the earth ever lasting, constant, firm i was the water ever changing, healing
then we saw life i felt your joy i know not where from but you were close and i knew we would touch again
we found forms with which to speak strange sounds that meant everything

Loving these. So many epic things happening. Number 3 is so delightful in its simplicity, it passes be me like a breath and I just want to read it over and over. The Chronicles of atoms i I especially liked how it harkens back to the creation story and the sort of beginning of days/beginning of love feeling, a great opener to this thread! I really felt that pang of despair too in the last two lines especially.
when you're leaving for the last time and see nobody home make sure to leave a message in the crack in the wall where we sold our souls you know i'll find it there when looking for all i love
dearest you were never meant long for this world we knew this when you played a note and cried you saw life in the music i saw only you beauty was everywhere
the morning star took my soul without a care i was one of his own from a start he entrusted you to gabriel for you only see life
i am always home

You must never give into despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road, and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength. — Uncle Iroh
