Martian Invasion!

It's time for creativity! Are you in need of some strange idea? Do you think you lack a bit of motivation to create? How about figurative language; have you used them to your advantage? No? Well that must mean you need to be abducted! Not by dangerous aliens from outer space, but by the Poetry Crew's out-of-this-world Martians Invade March Poetshop!

The Martian themed poetry workshop will commence on March 23 and 24 at different times. Audy, one of the workshop supervisors plans the workshop to also include discussions and even prizes at the end. For clearer schedules, refer to the link above.

A Moment of Spring!

Do you know who our current featured member is? Why, you're right! It's KylaThompson! Not only did our guest commended on being a featured one, but she's also a figure of fresh starts and new opportunities, all of which she took!

Dogs: How does it feel getting the "Featured Member" award? If at all, how does this inspire you in the YWS neighborhood?

KylaThompson: It feels awesome getting to be featured because I usually don't get recognized for much, so it really makes me happy. It makes me want to be featured again, that to me would mean I'm helping out even more.

Dogs: As clearly being a key role model in YWS, what would you suggest to new members and how they can aspire to be a great member in YWS?

KylaThompson: I would tell any newcomer that we are here to help each other and don't be discouraged if someone criticizes you, it's only to make you better.

Dogs: If you could please talk briefly on how become the "Featured Member" has affected, if at all, your YWS experience?

KylaThompson: I really like helping people with writing, seeing as how I love writing so much. I would like to help any new YWS member anyway I can seeing as how I started out.

As Kyla has already stated, she strives to continue her wonderful work and perhaps be featured again in the future with her hard work. Give it up for our wonderful interviewee, the lovely KylaThompson! On behalf of YWS, we commend and congratulate you and you're excellent work.
