Before I come home
The chicken might crow and run
Through the open fields

And I already wrote it:
Still I am not done
As I gasp for air but find
Only water there

Through the open fields
A labyrinth of dead crops,
I still wander here

through the moonglade’s thick brush
stargazing quietly

A star falls into my eyes
Energy fills me

Like a soprano’s shrill voice
Through the cathedral

through the cathedral
a soft dirge reverberates
'tis the end of times.

“‘Tis the end of times,”
Scream the skeletons inraged
Fires in the sky

Fires in the sky
Embers rain down on the ground
Blooming a new life

Blooming a new life
Flowers of ash sprout through earth
Ghost-lilies growing

Ghost-lilies growing
Supernova exploding
Echoing across

Echoing across
The oceans of space, stars fall
In glimmering waves

In glimmering waves
Prospers the cold marine life
Dancing with bubbles

Dancing with bubbles
A crane stands single-footed - fish
Swim around my feet

Swim around my feet
As the koi and beta glide
I am now your fish

Through the shaky brown reeds and
The red heron feet
