Teenage superheroes

Viamire paced a bit, trying to think of a way to help Kage, while not getting herself or 'Gonzo' killed. She knew that if she had been alone she could have simply traveled through the broken mirror (A broken mirror is still a mirror, after all), but with another person... She shuddered, remembering the last time she'd heard of such a thing. No, she couldn't take 'Gonzo' with her, but she couldn't leave her in the Mirrored Hall either.

Viamire cursed the fact that she couldn't fight well enough, at least not against enemies of this caliber. She glanced over at 'Gonzo'. The girl seemed to have calmed down a bit, but when a super tells you they're powers are unstable, it usually means very unstable.

Better keep an eye on that, then, She concluded. She took a deep breath and tried to focus. They were near the library, Kage was in the library. They needed to get back to the library. She brought up the school's layout in her mind, trying to think of the closest mirror that she could get to from the here.

"Girl's bathrooms it is then," she said, more to herself than 'Gonzo'. "You up for it?" she asked.

'Gonzo' nodded, not meeting her eyes. She tried to shut out Ishtar but failed miserably. Her voice stayed strong in her head. Viamire took hold of her hand and they went through the mirror into the girls bathroom.

Surprise took over Coden's face. "..kill them? Why?"

The ninja sat him back down calmly as if nothing happened. "They are too dangerous. They kill mercilessly. We cannot trust them in wat they have promised. Which is why you come in."

A lump got stuck in Coden's throat. "Kill them? No more life?"

The ninja rubbed his forehead in frustration. "Of course. Just a teenager.You haven't been taught what it feels like to kill."

Mika wondered through the Mirrored hall. She had stayed behind when Viamire and Kage had gone through the mirrors to help the girl and they hadn't returned. She looked round and saw Viamire and a girl step through a mirror. She ran forward and making sure her glove was secure grapped hold of the girls hand.
'Hey! wait for me'
Then she felt the wierd feeling that ahe had felt once before as she was dragged through the mirror.

Orion bolted off of the floor. The man in black tried to grab her but she ducked under his arms. She ran down down the hall and skidded into the girls' bathroom. Inside were two other girls. Orion gasped as she saw them.
"You have no idea how good it is to see you Viamire." Orion gasped. She put her hand on the door and froze it so it couldn't be broken.

The ninja twirled the knife around again, and placed it in Coden's hand. "Time for your first lesson."

Out of nowhere another ninja dropped from the ceiling and instantly plunged his fist into Coden's stomache. Coden recoiled, gasping and pain. The shock on his face stunned him momentarily. The ninja did not hesitate. He began to pummel him across the face, splitting Coden's skin open. Blood began to pour from his nose.

"Fight back!" the ninja commanded, strutting around them like a stern instructior. "Fight, or die!"

Coden's reaction time surprised even the ninja. Infuriated, Coden sent the ninja flying, propelling into the blackboard upon the wall. He rolled to his feet, and began to return the blows the ninja had bestowed upon him. the familiar red glow appeared in Coden's eyes.

"Yes, yes!" the ninja chanted. "Let the power inside you show you what it can do!"

The knife, once in Coden's hands, now whistled past the ninja, slicing his cheek open. "Shut up!" Coden screamed, his voice distorted. "You will be next!"

He turned back to the one in front of him. "Say good night."

A black blade plunged into the exposed stomache. The ninja gasped in surprise and anguish. His face twisted, and he fell, dead.

'Gonzo' stood hesitantly by the sink, now regretting getting mad at Ishtar. She needed someone to talk to without the fear of hurting anyone.

Mika was nice, one of the first people to talk to her when she came to the school. She wished that she could have talked to her and maybe become friends, but her power prevented any contact.

Out of habit she started biting her nails. Just to keep her mind occupied while she waited for Ishtar to say something.

Gonzo! Ishtar's voice rang in her ears, say hi!

Mika stood by the sinks with Gonzo. Viamire had been angry that she had jumped the mirror at first but the sudden apearence of Orion had shocked her and they were now talking animatedly about something at the other side of the room.
Things had been tense only five minutes before when one of the Ninjas had been pounding on the door, but Orion had held strong and the Ninja had finally given up and left the girls alone. Mika had only seen Orion in power control classes but knew little about her. Mabe now would be a good chance to get to know her better.
Before she could move Gonzo came towards her. She knew Gonzo had trouble controlling her powers, which was dangerous seeing as she could enter your mind without you wanting her too.
'Hi Mika' She said looking around nervously and biting her nails.
'Hey, how you holding up?'
She paused before answering, like she was listening to something.
'I'm fine' she said hesitantly.
Bofore Mika could reply Orion and Viamire walked back to join the pair.
'We need to find a way to help Kage and find Coden' said Viamire.
'Well first we have to find them' replied Mika looking up.
'Well...' said Orion with a smile on her face, 'What are we waiting for?'

'Gonzo' walked down the hall with the other girls, she wished that she didn't have to worry about not being able to say anything.

"'Gonzo'?" Mika asked as she walked next to her. 'Gonzo' nodded her head breifly in responce. "How come you're talking all of a sudden? Or coming out? What ever it is."

"I got tired of being lonely, and i'm getting help to control my powers." She kept her eyes focused on the ground.

Their speed increased sending them around corners and down hallways getting closer to the library.

((Ok just a little confused. I have very little time to sorta kinda read so if I'm wrong on a post then sort me out ^^))

Meribelle flipped a throwing knife nervously from hand to hand as she crept down the halls. Every click or clash was a cloaked man coming to steal her. Meribelle flicked her wings nervously and glanced around again.

Her clothes were different from the pajamas she wore earlier. She wore a tight, flexible chain mail that looked similar to scales or feathers. Leather boots muffled her steps and loose green pants allowed her to move quietly and fast. A simple backpack hung from her shoulders.

Meribelle rubbed her arms wishing she had worn a coat over her no sleeves shirt. She sighed and remembered her father teaching her self defense and her families traditions.

"Remember Meribelle, our family goes way back to the Indian tribes. They fought with stealth and honor."

His black eyes looked over his daughter in the traditional warrior dress.

"When you need to be quiet, don't use the mail pants. Always, always, always keep the shirt, it saved your ancestors many times. Never wear sleeves unless it's snowing, if anyone catches anything it could cost you your life."

"Uh, hey girls, I have some clothes that could muffle our noises if you want to stop by my room real quick?" Orion asked. She stopped in the middle of the hallway. The rest of them turned and looked at each other.
"Where is your room?" Viamire asked.
"It's on the way to the library. It's not far from where we are but it's a little distance to the library." Orion replied.
"Okay, but let's hurry it up." Viamire said as she turned and started to walk again. Orion ran past them and gestured for them to follow. They all took off at a run and shortly stopped at Orion's room. They entered and Orion pulled her trunk from under the bed. She opened it and there was, sure enough, clothes.
"Okay Viamire you pick first. I don't know what size you have but this isn't a time to be picky so just choose. Mika, you're after Viamire and 'Gonzo' you're last." Orion said.

Coden whirled around, and immediatly hit the remaining ninja across the head. He collapsed yet again.

He had to move fast. Neither were dead; they were only unconcious. The knife laid limply to the side of the ninjas, unused. He made a quick sprint for the door. He began to pull it open, when something said only minutes ago echoed in his head.

we will kill every one of them... starting with your winged friend.

He swore under his breath. He looked back at the ninjas. His hand wavered around the doorknob. Then, an idea sruck him. He snapped his fingers, and a small black silouhette appeared on the ground beneath him.

"Go find help." he commanded, and opened the door just a crack. The little figure nodded, and ran out the door.

When they had changed into their new clothes they raced down the hall to the library. They opened the door just as Kage really started failing.
now! Ishtar said, take control of your powers! Focus on the ninja!

but last time i did that I killed him

Stop before it's too late, don't lose the control!

'Gonzo' focused on the Ninja. She told him to stop. He stopped, she decided to go and do something silly. She told him to jump, he jumped. She told him to sit down and he sat down.

She felt her grip losening on her control. She pulled herself out of his mind and grinned. She had gotten some where with her powers.

When the ninja began to jump up and down Viamire couldn't have been more shocked, but that was cleared up a bit when she saw the look on Gonzo's face. That must be her power than... She saw Gonzo begin to falter and realized that she couldn't keep it up for long.

"Orion, freeze that guy, okay?" She ordered, rushing over to Kage's side. He'd fallen down once the ninja had stopped attacking him. His leg looked worse than before.

"Idiot," she growled, surprise by how uncontrolled her voice was. "What do you think you're doing?!" Kage looked at her out of the corner of his eyes.

"You shouldn't have come back," he told her, "You could have gotten hurt." Viamire balled her hand into a fist, trembling. Deep breath, deep breath... She released the fist.

"Kage, you don't go to this school without...without the knowledge that you could get hurt. Everyone here's a super, and some aren't stable," she glanced at Gonzo, but she didn't seem to hear her. "Some one could lose it...heck, anyone could lose it! And once we're out of here? You think we're all getting desk jobs? We're not exactly in the safest line of work Kage," she began to rip up her old shirt that she had changed out of in Orion's room to make bandages. "Everyone dies eventually, at least make life worth it."

'Gonzo''s head started hurting. She pulled herself back to her body. Whenever her head started hurting when she was in someone else's mind she was on the verge of losing control.

Even though she was sad that she couldn't control it anymore she couldn't stop the huge grin that came across her face.

you can control it now. Now you can talk to someone. And i think he should be coming in the library soon.
"Who?"
His name is Nathan, he's new.
"When will he get here?"
