"My parents are... very famous around the world. Actually, infamous." Coden started. "You ever heard of pych strike and final flame?"

Meribelle nodded. "Of course. They are one of the biggest supervillian duo ever to come around. But what does that have to do with your parents. Were they killed by them?"

Coden shook his head sharply, fighting back the emotion he showed only minutes ago. "No, that supervillian duo are my parents."

Meribelle gasped. She grasped his hand tightly. "Coden, I am so sorry! I didn't know..."

Coden rolled his eyes. "No one knows, so don't worry about it. But anyway, my parents weren't always like that. Supervillians... most choose their path y'know? Not my parents. They used to be good, great. But then..."

The tears fell once again. "But then... they had threatened to kill me. They held me hostage, me, just ten years old. They forced them to swear themselves to evil."

Coden breathed deeply. The pain in his chest wasn't physical. His heart ached. "At first it was petty crimes, steal this, steal that. But then they got worse. They began to enjoy it. And now they are trying to swear me into it."

"Coden..." Meribelle whispered. "I am so sorry..."

Coden smiled. He stared deeply into her eyes. "You helped me though Meribelle... You saved me."

Cedrick ran into the pricipals office but no one was there, "I have a bad feeling about this."

A ninja appered behind him and slashed at him with a sword. His sholder was cut and bleeding.

"Word of edvice, if you're going to kill me, do it in one blow."

He brought blood from his sholder to his hand and made solid shards. He threw them at the ninja but missed. It charged at him, but Cedrick motioned with his hand and a spear type object shot from his wound into the ninja. He fell down dead.

"Got to get to the infermery and organize a plan." He motioned to leave, but saw the secratary on the floor under her desk. he went over to her, "Asleep? A sleep jutsu! Darn Ninja!"

Meribelle smiled. She liked being there for someone who cared for her. "Help...me" Meribelle whipped round in time to see a girl fall to the ground. Meribelle turned back around and grinned wickedly, "Romantic moment over." She gave Coden a kiss on the cheek, quickly wiped his tears away and smiled. Coden laughed quietly and touched his cheek, watching Meribelle run to the girl, I wonder if Meribelle will ever run out of love to give, he inquired to himself.

Meribelle turned round once again and rolled off the bed. She ran up to he girl and felt a bone chilling breeze. "Frio frio frio!" (Cold cold cold!) she chanted and jumped back. She inhaled sharply and advanced to the girl again. "Anyone home?" she called as she looked at the girl. She only shuddered and continued breathing fast. Meribelle looked at her, bent down and scooped her up in her arms. The girl flinched and a coating of formed over Meribelles arms. Meribelle screamed and almost dropped her.

Fear spread over Codens face, "Meribelle?!" Meribelle winced and ran to the nearest cot. Before she got there Meribelle slipped on some ice forming on the floor and fell. The girl was thrown out of her grasp into the bed and Meribelle slid and hit her head on the bed post.

Coden stood, wincing, and walked to Meribelle. Meribelle clutched her head and was rolled onto her side. "Meribelle?" Coden asked, his voice shaking. Meribelle waved a hand and Coden moved away. She got up, slowly, and picked the girl back up. She quickly deposited back on the cot. Meribelle turned around. Coden was automatically shocked, "You're hurt!" Meribelle grinned, a large cut across her forehead poured blood,"Yes, I noticed."

A screech sounded from the hall and shirtless Kai skidded to a stop in front of the aid door. "I can't sleep for..." he leaned his head in and craned it to look at the clock, one o'clock, "Three hours without..." he counted the hurt people and grinned, "Three people dying. That's a person an hour."

Meribelle scowled and spit some blood out of her mouth. Kai walked up to her and ordered Coden to bed. Of course he refused but went after a while. Kai, in blood soaked pants, examined Meribelle and inquired, "Scar or no?" Meribelle narrowed her eyes. "No then."

Kai quickly went to work, pale skin and glowing palm. Meribelle was quickly healed and he moved onto Orion. She sat in the chair next to Codens bed. "Now, where were we before my parents and ice girl so rudely interrupted?" Coden asked.

Meribelle smiled and looked down at her ruined pajamas, she loved violet, "We were sleeping."

Coden smiled, eyes closed and head shaking. When he opened them, Meribelle was laid on the bed table breathing lightly. "Wow, never seen anyone fall asleep that fast." Kai came up behind her with a blanket and placed it over her. Coden laughed, "Neither have I."

Kage gave him a blank stare. "Really? I was wondering why someone was trying to kill me."

Cedrick frowned. "This isn't the time for your sarcasm, Kage. We need to find the teachers!"

Kage sat up straight. "Before we inform the teachers we have to warn the whole school."

"And how are we going to do that?" Ryan asked.

"The PA system of course. We just need to get to the principals office and use it to wake everyone up."

"I was just in the office, that ninja from before almost killed me. But we won't have to worry about him anymore since I killed him."

Kage gave him a querying stare. "You think you actually killed him? Don't be so quick to think so. My brother wouldn't have been taken down so easily, he just wants us to think he's dead so we'll let our guard down."

"Wait," Cedrick said, "He's your brother?"

"Now's not the time for this, we need to get to the PA system."

Ryan said, "You can't go anywhere with that broken leg, Kage."

Kage laid on his back and grabbed his leg. With a loud snap he pushed the bone back into place. "That'll keep me going for a while. Now, let's go."

"Wait," said Cedrick. He pulled out some bandage and swipped it with blood. "Wrap this around your leg, it will help it heal and take the pain away."

Kage did as he was told and wrapped the bandage around his leg. "Right, let's go." Before the three of them left Kage told the rest of the people in the infirmary, "You'd all better find somewhere safe to hide. If I know anything about the enemies we're up against this'll be the first place they'll look."

Kage, Cedrick and Ryan headed down the hall towards the principal's office. Kage took the lead. He limped slightly after each step. The stopped at every corner so Kage could check to see if the coast was clear. When they were three hallways away from the office Kage held up his hand, signaling for them to stop.

Cedrick said, "Wha-" but Kage covered his mouth with his hand. He placed a finger over his masked mouth, telling them to keep quiet. Kage then pointed to the janitor's closet just to their left.

"Hide." Was all he whispered before disappearing in a quiet poof of white smoke.

The mirror in Viamire's bathroom was the largest one she owned, and perhaps her favorite, save her mother's hand held one. Every night before she went to bed she would place her hands on it and allow the cool surface to calm her nerves and ready her for bed.

Tonight it didn't calm her. The moment her skin touched the surface an almost eclectic shock passed through her, sending her hair on end. She jumped back.

"What the...?" She gripped her chest, trying to stop the frantic beating of her heart. That's never happened before... She thought. She frowned. Something's wrong, something the mirror's trying to tell me...

She put her hands on the mirror again. The shock was less severe now, but only because she had been expecting it. As soon as it passed she saw her eyes change silver and she slipped through.

The Mirrored Hall was flooded with mirrors every were, as always. She walked, Swam was possible a better word, trying to find the root of the disturbance, quickly. Her mother once told her that entering the Mirrored Hall without an idea of where you were going was the most dangerous thing she could do with her power. She understood why. It would be the easiest thing in the world to drift through the hall forever.

She was just about to past another mirror when she felt the charge again. She turned and recognized the Principle's office. She looked through just in time to see Kage order two boys to hide and then disappear in a poof of smoke.

She didn't know why the boys would need to hide, or even why they were in the Principle's office alone (Highly against the rules). But she trusted Kage knew what he was doing, and she wanted to do her part.

"Hey," She whispered in a hushed voice from the mirror, which to the boys in the room, would still look just like a mirror, "Over here, by the mirror!" She watched their shocked looks and hoped they'd do what she'd say and not give her much difficulty. It was extremely hard to pull others into the Mirrored Hall.

Orion opened her eyes groggily. She tried to sit up and noticed that a pool of ice was formed over the bed. She then remembered the lesson with the principle and how he was teaching her to use the ice as a shield. she was still weak but able to move. She broke the ice that was crusted over her body. She swung her legs down and noticed that her jeans, T-shirt, and sneakers were ripped but she didn't care. Something didn't feel right. It had been over an hour since she was laid down and she could have sworn there was someone else with an injury in here. She got off of the bed and stumbled to the door. She opened it and found a little blood on the floor. She thought it would lead her somewhere so she followed it.

Coden could hear the noises outside. The sound of silent feet upon the ground. Someone was about and didn’t want anyone to know. No one else seemed to be disturbed, yet Coden heard it. He struggled up to his feet, his knees shaking. Kai rushed over, and tried to push him back down.

“What are you doing? Stay in bed.”

Coden pushed the hands away, and stood straight up. “There’s something wrong.”

Kai gently pulled at his shoulders. “Well don’t worry about it. I’m sure it will be handled.”

Coden suddenly whirled around, two sleek dark blades emanating from his hands. He sliced at seemingly nothing that was behind him. It slashed open, exposing the now bloody torso of a human. The figure fell to the ground.

“It didn’t seem to be handled very well.” Coden said. “They need better security here.”

He started out the door. Kai cut him off. “Where do you think your going?”

Coden pushed him aside. “Chances are, there’s more of them. Keep that one alive, he isn’t dead. I am going to see what I can do to help. Please, stay here and protect Meribelle.”

Kai shook his head. “Your in no condition-.”

Coden disappeared out the door. Kai threw his hands up in frustration.

“Just don’t listen to me!”

He went and seated himself beside Meribelle. “You can stop faking it, he left you here.”

Meribelle sat up, blinking innocently. “You just woke me up!”

Kai rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure. If you plan on helping him, I suggest you go.”

Meribelle stood up, straightening her pajamas. “And of course you will stay here and quote amazing euphemisms as you seem to read our minds.”

Kai shrugged. “Seems to be all I am good at right now. If either of you get hurt, come back.”

Meribelle nodded, and started out the door.

“Oh and Meribelle!” She looked back.

“Expect him to be angry for leaving.”

She smiled. “Thanks for the pointer.”

Meribelle swiftly ran along the hall. She decided to head towards the office. after a while Meribelle heard light pats behind her. She stopped and made a fist. She hated fighting. Meribelle whipped around and let her fist fly.....right into Kais open palm. Kai chuckled, "I'm sorry I frightened you. I got worried." He cupped her hand quickly and let go.

Meribelle put her hand to her chest and exhaled deeply, "Geez Kai, I was about ready to take your head off."

Kai smiled. A clank sounded down the hall and Kais smile quickly faded.Kai reached around and pressed a finger to Meribelles lips. She nodded in reply, she had heard it too.

A whizzing sound flew past Kais head and a shuriken landed with a solid thunk on the opposite wall. Kai watched it and whipped around. His eyes tinted red and he stepped forward. Suddenly Kais foot flew out and landed a blow on an invisible opponent. A man garbed in black sunk to the ground. Kai bent down and searched him, coming up with throwing knives and stars.

Meribelles face was covered with horror, "What the hell is going on here?!" she whispered loudly.

Kai shook his head and pocketed the throwing knives and stars. "I don't know but I bet Coden does." He started off and turned to Meribelle, "Let's go find him."

Kage was the first to approach the mirror. He whispered, "Keep your voice down."

"What's going on?" Viamire asked.

"The school is under siege, the ninjas from my clan are in the school."

"If that's the case then we have to go somewhere safe. I'll use my power to pull you all through the mirror and-"

Kage cut her off. "We can't leave yet. We have to warn the rest of the school."

Viamire asked, "How? They're all asleep."

"We're going to use the P.A. system." Kage went over to the Principal's desk. As he walked he said, "Viamire, get ready to use your powers to get us out. Once I turn on the P.A. every enemy in the school will know where we are. We need to escape as soon as I finish the announcement."

Viamire nodded. "Got it."

Kage pointed to Cedrik and Ryan. "You two, watch the door." They nodded and went to the door.

Kage turned on the P.A. system and began to speak. "Attention all teachers and students..."

the voice echoed all around the hallway, into Coden's earshot. It took only seconds to register. "The principal's office!"

He skidded across the tile as he flew down several corridors. The occasional ninja met him, only to be met by the two darkened daggers in Coden's awaiting hands.

He turned the corner to the principal's office, and stopped short. Two shadowy figures, silent and menacing. Coden's face fell into deep concentration.

"We are under attack by hidden enemies..." the voice continued across the hall. Coden readied himself.

"Everyone must evacuate immediatly. Move quickly, help each otherm but do not stop!"

Coden slid beneath the shadows, up to the two figures. He slipped behind them, and pressed the blades to their throat. "I can be sneaky too."

"Coden!"

The principal's door burst open, and Kage stood there, looking at Coden in surprise. Coden nodded his head down the hall. "Go, Kage, I got them!"

Kage rolled his eyes, walked up casually, and yanked Coden's arms away. "Knock it off. They are students, helping me."

"Hey," Viamire hissed. "After you four are finished your little tea party over there, how about you get your-" she cut herself off as another ninja appeared from the shadows. "WATCH OUT!" she yelled. Kage whipped around and lodged a deadly looking knife into the ninja's chest.

"Time to go," he said, herding them all through the mirror. "Can you take us all through that, Viamire?" He asked.

"One at a time," she said. She grabbed Ryan's hands. "Calm down, it's not going to hurt a bit," she told him. She concentrated and felt the mirror melt away at her will and allow Ryan entrance. He looked around the Mirrored Hall, a bit shocked.

"Well that was...wow," he said. Viamire repressed a smile, concentrating on pulling Cedrick through.

"Coden next," Kage said, pushing him forward a bit, "I'll keep watch." Viamire nodded reluctantly. She hoped Kage wasn't planning anything incredibly stupid.

As Coden entered he grabbed Viamire's shoulder firmly.

"My friend, she's in the infirmary. Some others were too. Can you...can you get them to, from there? I want her to be safe." Viamire took one look in his determined eyes and nodded without hesitation.

"We'll hit the infirmary next," she said. She turned back to the mirror. "You next, Kage," she said, holding out her hand.

Cedrick and Ryan stood there as Kage was pulled in. They looked at each other and jumped back through both at the same time. Viamire was sent back from having two people move through the mirrior at once.

"What are you doing?" asked Kage.

"Well," starded Cedrick, "The school is large and there is no one in this section."

"So?" Asked Kage.

"For people in the west dormitories, how will they get out?"

"Through..here."

"Ryan and I will hod off the enemy so the others can escape. Don't woory, we'll be okay."

They took off and left The pair standing there.

"Do you know where to go Cedrick?"

The courtyard, many will enter through there."

"Right." Ryan drew his now blood staind blade, Cedrick drew his knife. "Let's go."

They ran off towards the courtyard. When they burst through the double doors there were two ninja waiting for them.

"Well well, two kids," said one.

"Yes, an easy kill." The other jumped at Ryan, but he ducked and slashed striking the belly. The ninja fell down dead. "Don't under estamate us."

Cedrick took the knife and stook it through his right hand. "The moment you under estamate the enemy, is the day you die."

The ninja dashed for Cedrick with a knife drawn. Cedrick shot blood out and grabed the ninja's arm.

"We need to talk."
