Zeda nodded. "I do." He paused, looking Lissa up and down. "Are you just a telepath?"

There was a shrug. Well you're here now. Let's see what we can produce.

Lissa bristled. She hadn't told anyone she was a telepath. Only Dima knew directly, but she supposed it was something easily deduced by their earlier fractured conversation.

Lissa looked off to the side.

"No," she said vaguely, noting that Zeda didn't elaborate on his answer either.

Dima hummed. Alright.

He nodded. "I could tell from the look in your eyes. Dima gets the same one."

Dima nodded. I can do that.

Kate smiled. Thank you darling.

There was a loud scream from the darkness, followed by a loud sigh. "Not again. Not again. Not again."

Dima didn't respond, staring intently at the chain.

Zeda flinched. "Uhh, who goes there screaming way too loud?"

Kate continued her weaving, little trails of gold emerging from the light.

"Sorry, sorry." A short girl with almost luminous red hair appeared from the darkness, almost like she'd been invisible a moment ago and just popped up. She was somehow visible even in complete darkness. She was wearing a white dress that looked ever so slightly... out of sync with the world as it seemed to flash through various shades of white occasionally disappearing into the blackness of the void. "I just. I didn't expect to end up here of all places. I am so terribly sorry if I disturbed something important."

Dima hummed. It's about to hit a chain.

Zeda scoffed. "I don't think any of us expected to just show up here."

Kate froze. Thank you darling.

The girl raised her hands. "Sorry. Probably should've realized that. That's on me."

Dima nodded.

Zeda sighed. "So. You're joining the woke up in a random void train?"

Kate continued her weaving.

The girl sniffed the air. "No, regrettably this is all too familiar."

Someone else showed up. Lissa couldn't decide if this was someone to trust or someone to be suspicious of. Their captors warned them of what lurked in the darkness, and who was to say it wasn't a person or multiple people who could be dangerous?

She stood stiffly behind Zeda and Dima.

"You've been here before?" Lissa asked carefully.

The girl shuddered. "Not on purpose. No one comes here on purpose. You're either sent here very much against your will or..." She gestured to all of them. "You come here on accident."
