The Halls of Darkness

Lissa didn't like the uneasy feeling that was stirring in her stomach.

"Which was it for you?"

"Accident. That was...terrifying."

Lissa pressed her lips together and glanced down at her feet. She didn’t know what to say.

“How long have you been here?”

"Well I just appeared now. The last time took around..." She shuddered. "A week. Maybe. Time is meaningless here."

Lissa frowned, feeling the pressure of the situation weigh down on her all the more.

"And... how did you get out last time?"

"They let us out." The girl gestured towards where the voices came from.

Let them out, huh?

Lissa found herself staring out into the darkness. Though she could not look at their captors, she hoped they knew her pointed glare was for them.

"Hm," she hummed. "Right."

The girl shrugged. "We should be safe enough in here though. Last time our location was...." The girl shuddered. "Much less ideal."
