Full on romance mode! Waah!

SANDY

I hear them talking about themselves, normal date talk ,with the guy starting off with " I like you."
I resisted the urge to fake gag and kept observing.
I wasn't really paying attention to the conversation-I wanted nothing else- but I kept looking out for abnormalities in their actions, something to prove my suspicions.

Cyan

I look at her, flashing a smile, "What do you mean?"

Clove

I smile, my hands slowly turning colder and my eyes turning blue. I shrug at his question. "Never mind, " I say. It starts to snow from my command and I giggle, loving the cold.

SANDY

I stiffen.
Clove's eyes turned lighter as I looked at her from across the room.
She giggled just as tiny snowflakes started falling from the sky outside.
Maybe this was my cue.

Cyan

I flash a smile and sip my drink, looking around the shop.

Clove

I stop the snow and turn the weather to a storm just as my eyes turn back to brown. I take a sip of my drink while glancing around.

I slipped behind the counter and through the open kitchen door.
Apparently, the waiter had ditched for a while for some reason.
So...no one was there.
I took a quick look around again, ducked, and faded back in.
Then, I willed myself to shape-shift.
I popped back up ,straightened my shirt and vest, grabbed a note pad and pen I found and walked out the door.

Cyan

Well this is great. Five minutes and we've already reached silence. I clear my throat and think of something to say, sipping more of my drink.

"So, you work at the cafe," I nod, "Any plans for the future?"

Clove

I shrug, "I want to just start a family," I tell him. "Make a living. You?"

Cyan

I shrug, glancing around, "I'd like to see the world. Then settle down, get married... I'm not sure about kids yet though. I love them, but I just don't know if I would want the responsibility just yet."

Clove

I nod. "I agree," I flash a smile. "I can't handle them. If I have them, I can't focus on work," I sigh.

Cyan

I nod and take a deep breath, glancing outside, "Speaking of work...I should probably start looking for that..."

Clove

I look at him, confused. "Right now?" I ask, taking a sip of drink.

Cyan

I look back at her, flashing a smile, "Oh, no. I just was reminded of it. I don't want to do anything involving effort today."

Clove

I smile, shaking my head at him. "That's good," I sigh. "There's a job opening as a cashier at the cafe I work at..." I look at him. "If you want it."
