Are characters meant to all come from the same general area or can some be from far and wide, stranger at the tavern vibes (only a character I would play as a contrast to a second, more integrated character, as that kinda thing is hard to pull off effectively in a roleplay)
I have ideas for a race of characters that aren't really all that alike to anything I've seen in fantasy media before so I want to know what the bounds are.
As far as personalities and backstories are concerned, I do want to know what everyone is thinking there as well so we don't end up with too many characters who are too similar. Wouldn't be the most fun to roleplay a bunch of asocial introverts who don't wanna talk to each other.
I'm not sure what I'll be doing for my characters yet, but so far I'm considering creating one of them to be quite chaotic. I'll have some drawings eventually I'm sure, but personality-wise, maybe a brighter, less-tragic, Harley Quinn, or, like, Michael Distortion from The Magnus Archives but slightly bouncier? I can't think of a perfect comparison but maybe you get the vibe there. The second character will probably be a contrast/balance to that because that kinda energy can screw up a roleplay pretty easily.
Creative juices might get flowing a little easier if we collaborate a bit
