After thinking about it (and I'm sorry, because this is going to clash with some of your profiles, so you'll have to change them) your starter Pokemon was a gift from CAMP four years ago, although your characters don't know that. You can speculate how they came from, since they appeared on your doorstep as an egg and hatched a month later. However, to make things easier on Carina and myself (since I did ask that the characters have no emotional bonds with pokemon) we're going to do it this way. It's a compromise for now, but I think Carina would say the same thing. There's only one character so far that would have recieved their pokemon at 10, and that's because they're 14 at present time.

so is this something that we should go edit?

Yeah, sorry about the confusion! @Carina and I weren't on the same page about when you get your starter pokemon. However, this is still going to be the basis of the reasioning: Before your character goes to CAMP, they should not have any experience in training, battling, or having emotional bonds with Pokemon.

Okay, after some (a lot on my end) confusion, you can have a bond with your starter pokemon. However, the starter will still come from CAMP four years ago. Sorry for all the mix-ups

If you said you received your starter at a year that wasn't four years ago, then make sure you edit it. If you said you received your starter from a mysterious person rather than it mysteriously appearing on your doorstep, then make sure to edit that as well.

But if you didn't mention either of these two, then don't worry about editing anything.

@Carina and @Omni, while I had mentioned neither for how long Chase has had Belismus nor from where had had gotten him, I edited my character profile so that both topics are now clarified anyway. However, I have now also added a significant bit of characterisation, so please read it again before you make your final decision. Thanks!

Also, I hope you don't mind if I made Belismus Shiny; in most cases, the original looks better than the Shiny version, but I like Shiny Oshawott and Samurott more. (I can live with Shiny Dewott.) If it is a problem though, please tell me.

Sorry Hunter, I talked it over with Omnoms as well, and we're going to have to deny the shiny pokemon. >.< Unless, like, you want us to roll a 5000 sided dice, and if you get a 1, then you get it. xD

Also, we're waiting for two more characters. Once we get them in, official letters will be let out.
