Also I realized I never answered that other question. I would love to have a pad party before next week...I think if we regrouped at this point about about the water thing and headed into the island as a group we could probably come up with something to write a lot about. Time to wander into ghost town anyone? I think if we go according to what we planned that's what would wrap up Arc 0? Us finding the town and all that?

also, I know that since I had to step down to pirate, things haven't been exactly the same pacing-wise >_< we've really drawn out the past few weeks just to survive LSS, but with tsunami around the corner, I am ready for SPEED
to speed thing along and keep things interesting, I was thinking that we bend some of the roleplaying rules and lean more towards a Storybook style of posting. We'd have to plan ahead of time to decide what we're doing, but if I'm able to control all the characters, I know I can write way more than the ~1k words/week I've been doing. Thoughts?
Also!! what time works with everyone for a pad party? Would work with everyone? (time should automatically adjust to your timezone) that's the day and time we had our first party allll those months ago lol
I think that time works for me! Everyone in the house except my mother and I will be watching football.
Also, I’m okay with writing with a Storybook style! Anything to pump out more words. The competitive side of me is taking charge, and I want to win! Or be in the top two

@veeren, the pad has the summary under the outline, but here's a summary that involves your character!
We loved your idea of a big bad evil spirit, and so he exists in this island -- his name is Akuji (per Valk's fab naming skills)! He's been there for a long, long time, and he once had a family and loved ones. Unfortunately his boat crashed, and everyone died except him. His sorrow ran so deep that he became a vengeance ghost who vows to make others feel his pain 😔 he does this by causing sudden bad storms to nearby ships, and then he collects the lost dead souls. with every soul he collects/traps on this island, he becomes STRONGER! so eventually he was able to move on to cruise ships.
CAPTAIN MORGAN THO. He was one of the first ones Akuji killed, and so he's kind of the leader of the ghosts. He's so over all of this lol and so he takes the liberty to convince any living person to end this curse by finding Akuji's grave and burning his bones. It's harder than it seems, because although Akuji can manipulate spirits, he can't really do much in the physical world... except cause horrific night terrors and wreck mental health to sow distrust against one another.
That's why the Captain hasn't ever convinced a group to finish the job before! either a) the group don't trust ANYONE and def don't trust no ghost, or b) the people agree to help, but they go crazy and later end up dying before being able to finish the job.
But... our group won't fail. hehe
So yep! That about sums it up. here's a summary of the summary lol:

Cap'n Morgan appears! probably acts creepy and kooky lol
Tells them what they have to do in a cryptic poem form
Aaaand first post of Tsunami week is in! I also set up the standards of what future posts could look like this week :9 hopefully Eliza and Susan are in character!
@Elinor, I figured you can spend a big post back-tracking Moira's adventure into the ghost town, maybe have her see those ghosts you wanted her to see, and then she gets spooked by something and runs towards them. And then probably lots of arguing will happen lol which I can write that part if the post gets too long and no one else wants to, because that will be fun to write
