Definitely, @Hedwiggle! Welcome to the storybook! :)

Now that we have a full cast assembled, we just have to make our character profiles! I should have mine up sometime this week - I'm finally getting a grasp on what I want to do with my character. I just need a name, a little more of their backstory, and a chance to write it all down.

I've summarized most of my CP, but I need some more explanation as to how the tragic event and special object are interlinked - if they even are. I read the earlier posts, but I guess I didn't fully understand. ^^" Mind helping me out, Mage @jaybird?

Also, is the school a university or a high school? ...Or something else?

I figured id say here that id like to use the woods/foresty area around the school as my location, as long as no one else has started a character surrounding that themself.

Since we're all telling each other our locations, I might as well - I'm taking the basement. If there is a basement - my old school had a basement so I'm assuming this one does.

At my current school the basement is a running gag, but at some of my old schools there was one. I think there would be one here. Of course, mage will confirm or deny, but I don't see why not so long as the plot doesn't get messed up by the addition of a basement (assuming there wasn't already one).

Ah, okay, I have another question mostly just to double check. Are the student are aware that there are supernatural beings roaming their school?

Sorry for the late reply, @Hedwiggle! To answer your questions, I'd love to help you out, it's a high school, and the students are vaguely aware! The students mostly think the supernatural beings are just stories, but there have been a few incidents that have made them question if they're something more. But, for the most part, they think they're just fun little ghost stories you tell to scare your friends.

What do you specifically need help with when it comes to the connection? The item usually is something that was involved in the event, but I can definitely help you out more if you tell me what the tragic event is.

(And, since we're talking about domains, I'll claim a clock tower on campus for mine!)

So basically, the tragic event is when Nyx's (my character) mother dies - they had a very strong connection, even though Nyx is half human, half devil and Anastasia (her mother) is human. Two days after Anastasia's death, Nyx is still overwhelmed with sadness that she finds out that she can shape-shift according to her needs (not want).

And another little tidbit is that she can only shape-shift if she has her mother's locket - it contains a picture of Nyx and her father (who's a devil). If she has the locket, she can shape-shift whenever she wants. If she doesn't have it on, she can only shape-shift according to her needs, only.

The locket would be the special object, and Anastasia's death would be the tragic event. Is that an okay enough connection between the tragic event and special object?

And then for the mysteries - there's gunna be a mystery behind each character?

That's definitely a good enough connection!

And for the mysteries, there probably won't be? I think they're called the seven school mysteries in the show because the story is told from the perspective of a human who's only just learning about the mysteries. In this, our characters are probably at least a little familiar with each other's angst.

I hope that makes sense!
