And posted! I think we leveled up and I'll work on updating the tome soon, but for now, I'd like to start a bit of a posting order! Now that everyone is together, I'm going to put a co-writer to every post. It is up to you if you want to collab or not, but I highly recommend collaboration!! I'm also going to put a bit of a guide to the post of what I'd like to see in the post to push the plot along. Other than that, you have free reign over your post
Co-written with @soundofmind The group checks out Serion for survivors. They find evidence of mafia and Synua guards there. At the end of the post, they find the little girl and her cat from before.
Co-written with @soundofmind The group take care of the girl, but she has too severe a case of bluecough to survive. They do what they can to save Serion, but it's too late for the town as well. At the end of the post, Belxibis separates with the group to try and ride through the night to Nua Port.
Co-Written with @Chaser The group promises Bel that they will hunt down the people who did this to Serion, and after a few dead ends, they find a hideout of a group of Mafia people who have been ostracized from Syna because they contracted bluecough while they were burning down Serion. The group splits. Railyn and Tyri head to the cave, only to find everyone brutally murdered and Belxibis in the middle of them.
Co-written with @Omnom Bel's journey with the girl while she is dying. He doesn't make it to Nua, but finds the mafia. His journey until it catches up with Railyn and Tyri.
All right! And that's everyone. Let me know what you think of this posting order
Burned scrap of fabric - This innocuous brown piece of fabric found by Ivern is in fact a smuggler's symbol, as Bel would be able to tell you. When exposed to certain chemicals, or a chemical change from being burned, it reveals the crest upon it. Bel will be able to link this crest to the powerful Idora mafia.
Bird tracks - The bird tracks found by Railyn loop around to the main road. Could the Synua guards have done this? Or was it a renegade act by their bird steeds?
The hardest part of writing science fiction is knowing actual science. The same applies for me and realistic fiction.
@Chaser that post was SO TENSE. Like, you know just how to create a sense of urgency with how you write, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It's honestly breathtaking, bravo! And, boy, that ending. This next post or two is gonna be a rough read, beginning to end, I can already feel it
OOOF, that was so so good. Both @Omnom and @Chaser's posts. I FINALLY CAUGHT UP. And it has inspired me to write for Eli, so Eli post comin' right up!!
Also, oooh, CLUES.
And lol, good secret strategy!
