I HAVE BEEN PLANNING! ESCAPE CREW, PLS READ!

Okay, team, here are my thoughts for the escape plot and how to get everyone involved. Escape plan details TBD, this is more about how to get everyone roped in gradually in ways that feel believable:

    - My new character, Sybyl, is likely going to be the "escape plan" initiator, and push the plot. His first recruit will be someone of a like-mind: Eclipse. He sees her strategic mind and wants to use it.
    - His next plan is to schmooze up to Hell, whom he plans to use as disposable (if needed) muscle.
    - He's going to sicc Eclipse onto Marius and Kazimir: gain the trust/loyalty of one, and you gain the other. The person Sybyl really wants is Kazimir for his electricity related powers. But he knows they're a package deal, and Marius's tech security and space travel knowledge could be useful. He wants Kazimir b/c his powers could, if fully unleashed, effectively stutter the whole security system long enough (before the backup generator kicks in) to get them the cover they need for escape, if timed correctly.
    - Eclipse will want to recruit X'lian as her bodyguard: and X'lian is also a package deal, coming with Rhea, who also possesses useful shapeshifting abilities that could be useful for bio-based/visual security checks: IE, she could impersonate a guard or higher officer.
    - When Kazimir is recruited, he will want to bring Ace along, as he has effectively tucked them under his wing: if Ace faces inevitable death inside the system, it's better to get them out.

for me and silv but also anyone who wants to read lol
we are developing the Cellmates

Kaz and Marius history:
    - Kaz has been in prison 7 years. Marius has been in prison for 5.
    - Marius became Kazimir's cellmate after Kazimir had been there for 2 years and they've been cellmates ever since.
    - In the first year as cellmates, Kazimir got sent to solitary for week for getting provoked into starting a massive food-fight in the cafeteria. During that 1-week stint while Kaz was away, Marius was attacked by another inmate with beef w/Ceya. When Kazimir returned from solitary and found Marius with two black eyes, he demanded to know who'd done it - and once told, was appeased until their next mealtime. When mealtime came, he released his full, unhinged rage upon the inmate that assaulted Marius. The fight was so vicous and chaotic that it's still talked about by inmates to this day. (The inmate Kazimir attacked was so mutilated they got transferred to a different prison).
    - Kazimir went right back into solitary for 2 weeks. When he returned, it was to a strangely touched (if still terrified) Marius, and thus was the beginning of their bro-ship.
    - A year prior to present, Kazimir ended up in solitary for 4 months for assaulting a prison guard who hurt Marius. The punishment time dramatically increased, as each outburst of violence over the past 5 years has recieved an increased penalty.
    - Marius and Kazimir missed each other a lot during those 4 months since they had no friends outside of each other. When Kazimir returned from 4 months of isolation he was nonverbal for a while, but hugged Marius tightly upon their first reunion (for what an uncomfortably long time, probably). He's since returned to speaking, but has never quite been the same: any sense of playfulness and the childlike excitement he used to carry are gone, and he's dramatically subdued as a person. He's barely spoken of that 4 month solitary confinement since.

Notes on their friendship:
    - Their friendship is based more on their current experience of each other than in sharing information about themselves or their past. Kazimir hardly ever offers personal information, and Marius - though better socially adjusted - is inclined not to prod too deeply not offer immensely more than is reciprocated. They have an intense loyalty to each other and trust but don't know much about each others' pasts.

What they know of each other:
    - Marius knows Kazimir has a wife. It came up briefly, once, when Kazimir was jokingly/seriously flirted with (Kazimir was unable to tell the difference, Marius could tell the interest was genuine). Kazimir shut it down quickly with: "I have a wife." But offered nothing more.
    - Marius knows Kazimir ended up in prison because he got caught murdering someone. Other criminal involvement was left implied: Marius has easily deduced Kazimir has a very checkered past.
    - When Marius first met Kazimir, Kazimir was easily provoked to violence. As marius has stuck around regardless, he's noticed a marked decrease in impulsivity and more self control. He's also watched kaz go in and out of solitary SEVERAL times and gradually comes out more and more subdued.
    - Kazimir knows Marius grew up pretty affluent-- Marius is a hard worker, but he also didn't have to be bc he would've been handed most of it anyway if he hadn't worked at all for it.
    - Kaz has heard of Marius's former company, it'd ring the same bells as microsoft/google/apple does for us (aka oh you work for them, you must be smart and get paid a lot but also ew capitalism. you don't like it either? valid, gotta pay the bills somehow)
    - Kazimir knows Marius is a bit (not a bit) of a geek so tech interests come up frequently. He has happily and cluelessly listened to his rants and retained nothing.
    - Kazimir also knows marius's story of how he got here. Back in the day, marius's innocence mattered a lot to him: now, he's come to the conclusion that it makes no difference. As long as someone thinks he did it, he'll be here, so there's no point in clinging to any moral superiority no one else finds legitimate.
