I've unarchived the roleplay ^^ I imagine it's going to take a minute for us all to get back on the same page of where everyone was when we last left off (and now we have a new person and nation!) so I'd like to take it in steps.

Right now we have Nation profiles for mine and mint's nations, and I know there are nations in the pad for everyone else minus winter. I want to gather a summary of stuff so far for countries and post it here. But, how we all doing!

And winter, here's the nation profile for you whenever you get a chance. No rush on completing it, as some of it is contextual and requires you to catch up on the other countries.

Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well ^^ I've been going through the pad and see that there was some good progress on everyone's nations with the first CP. I believe Ranger and Jazz you two are finished and herb you are almost finished (minus specific names)

Here are the nation quick and dirty summaries -- hopefully @winterwolf0100 this helps you out with starting out!

Ngyraa (@herb) -- Competitive-style democracy, largest nation. Large tourist country. Hilly, wildlife heavy. Mixture of renaissance and japanese build types.
Vivistek (@Omni) -- matriarchal society, republic and plutocracy. extravagance built upon old caste system. Second largest nation. Arid Desert biome with some humidity.
Vioghe (@JazzicusMaximus) -- Constitutional Monarchy, third largest nation, semi-desert, technologically advanced civilization, large export nation.
Miškas (@Ranger) -- Feudal Monarchy, thick forest, independent and secluded nation. Some cities are completely off the ground due to the forest.
Keshozt (@Spearmint) -- An overthrown kleptocracy turned fragile republic. Scientific pursued nation, mountainous with a coastline to the west. Weak military and freshly out of war.

Next steps:

There's a second CP floating around out there. For those who have finished the first CP, I'd love for you to start on the second one so I can begin with a map! I am going to make a Roleplay Quest at some point soon with some extra stuff to do for inspiration ^^

@winterwolf0100 do you have any initial thoughts / ideas for your nation?

I’ve been out of town so I haven’t had time to think much on it. If you have any ideas, I’d love to hear them!! I will be brainstorming

XD no worries! and no rush, since everyone else is getting back into ideas from six+ months ago.

Some ideas! Right now we have a couple of Republics and Democracies, and a couple of Monarchies. Vivistek is more of an oligarchy/plutocracy. We don't have any nations that are dictatorships or authoritarianism, we also don't have a theocracy. You could do like feudalism or a tribal, nomadic nation. Whichever you feel calls to you! I think it would be an interesting perspective to have a nation that is religious and maybe uses Ca'aeld for religious reasons.

I am working on the basics of a map at the moment and ordering the nations in size.

Right now, the size of the nations, from largest to smallest, are:

1. Ngyraa
2. Vivistek
3. Vioghe / Miškas *
4. Vioghe / Miškas *
5. Keshozt **
6. winter's nation **

Okay! So some notes! herb's nation, Ngyraa, is specifically noted as the largest nation. Vivistek is specifically noted as the second largest nation. Much of Vivistek is desert.

* We have a bit of a conflict here between @Ranger and @JazzicusMaximus -- and it is up to you two to decide!

Vioghe is stated as the third largest nation. Miškas is stated as a large nation, but not the largest. In my mind, large feels like the top half, but it is up to you! Lemme know what you think ^^

** And finally, we have Keshozt and winter's perspective nation. Mint, in your nation profile it did say your nation is /not/ the smallest nation, but I didn't think it'd be all that fair to constrict winter to being the smallest nation. Realistically I think we can make adjustments to any/all of the nations if winter is interested in having a larger nation. Just wanted to put it out there!

Map & Cardinal Directions:

I am working on the very basics of a map that is taking into account three things: cardinal direction preferences, nation size, and biomes. All nations will be on the same continent and somewhat loosely meet in the middle. Right now, here are my initial thoughts! Directions in bold are noted preferences, and the rest is my inference.

West: Keshozt -- as noted in the nation profile, Keshozt has a coastline on its western border. I've noted a warmer climate (rain in the winter, strong sunlight in the summer) so an equatorial nation.

Northeast/East: Vioghe -- as noted in the OOC. Semi-desert climate.

East/Southeast: Vivistek -- Similar environment to Vioghe, but harsher desert. It would make sense to have these two nations bordering each other. In my mind at the moment, I am thinking of Vivistek being on the equatorial, so on the same horizontal line as Keshozt. So it would make sense to me to have Vioghe either above or below Vivistek. I am leaning towards above.

South: Ngyraa -- Ngyraa has a temperate climate, with lots of hills. In my head, this makes sense being close to the desert of Vivistek as the desert transitions to a more temperate climate.

Southwest: Miškas -- Miskas has a thick forest climate, so in my mind it makes sense to have this nation bordering the temperate climate. I'm unsure of Keshozt's climate other than the temperate. Miskas can also be Northwest or North.

There is a note of valleys in Keshozt. Mint, do you have an idea on the biomes you want Keshozt to be?
