House of the Serpent [Envy]
The people of House Serpent are known for being especially cunning, jealous and manipulative. They often wear shades of metallic green and silver. Ruled by the Vyrr Family, the Serpents have jurisdiction over the Venom District in the Wilds. The roads are known for being thin, windy, and made of cobblestone. Houses and townhomes are closely clumped together-- leaving almost no room for trees or flora. Serpent-people, physically, look alike to snakes, with shortened noses and scales that spot their skin.
Serpents can, of course, morph into snakes. Other houses know not to look at Serpent-born in the eyes, and if they do there's a huge possibility that they'll turn to stone. People of house Serpent can also copy someone else's ability for a very short period of time, if the Serpent-born wants it bad enough. This takes a lot of concentration, and a lot of training.

House of the Rat [Greed]
The people of House Rat are resourceful and never give up. Their clothing often consists of scavenged fabrics, worn leathers, and trinkets collected from their many trades. Ruled by the Grinlok Family, the Rats hold jurisdiction over the Scavenger District, a network of tunnels and abandoned ruins. The streets above are cracked and lifeless, while below, dimly lit tunnels are active with parties.
Ratfolk are nimble and sharp-eyed, with slightly elongated limbs and keen senses. They excel at scavenging, trading in forbidden goods, and running intricate black markets. As for abilities, Rat-born can melt into shadows, becoming nearly invisible in dim light, and are perfectionists at detecting the hidden motives of others. They can see beneath the skin, so to say.

House of the Swan [Pride]
The people of House Swan are known for being of grace, sophistication, and strict societal expectations. Their people wear flowing robes of white and silver, embroidered with delicate feathers and fine gems. This is the home to the ruling House of the Wilds, the Hyacinth Family. They govern the Lumin District-- marble islands and crystal-clear lakes where mutliple grand palaces lie.
The Swan-born are tall and lanky, with pale skin and eyes the color of gemstones. Notably, they have large, white, bird-like wings. Swan-born are obsessed with perfection, and their society revolves around art and music. House Swan wields powers of illusion and can tranform into other people and animals. Memorably, they can also summon razor sharp feathers from the sky when they feel threatened.

House of the Lion [Wrath]
House Lion's people are bold, and quick to anger. They wear armor and garments of gold and crimson, adorned with lion emblems. Because a lot of them are raised to battle from birth, Lions-people are known for having visible battle scars. Ruled by the Khaldren Family, they protect the Claw District. Claw consists of vast, rugged mounatins dotted with stone fortresses, training grounds, and multiple academies for the gifted.
Lions-people are physically imposing and have feline teeth with a lion's tail. They have immense strength (even though in some, it might not look like it) and fiery tempers. Their powers center on passion and anger which allows them to summon hellfire flames conjured from the center of the planet. House Lion’s society values honor, and many of their leaders are veteran warriors.

House of the Moth [Lust]
The Moth people are closed off, mysterious, emotionally sensitive, and -- normally -- physically appealing to look at. They wear iridescent silks and are all born with delicate, colorful moth-wings and lilac/purple colored hair (which is how most Houses recongize them apart from the others). Ruled by the Landon Family, they hold power over the Glow District that consists of glowing forests, hanging lanterns, and never-ending dusk.
Moth-born hold the power of weather manipulation and emotional control. They can often cloud someone's mind or fog a memory. They control all weather patterns across the Wilds. Their society revolves around forbidden knowledge, and the greatness of youth and beauty.

House of the Spider [Sloth]
House Spider is patient, calculated, and ruthless. Their people wear dark, woven fabrics and blend into the deep abyss of their home. Ruled by the Nyxen Family, they dominate the Web District. The Web consists of dark forests and swamps, with most homes hanging in the trees. They aren't usually open to the likes of outsiders.
Spider-born move slowly but think far ahead. They are often great climbers. Physically, they have elongated limbs with faded patches resembling a spider's exoskeleton. Their powers include weaving webs that can trap or control, and the ability to slow time around them. Spider society prizes patience, long-term plotting, and sneakiness.

House of the Leopard [Gluttony]
Leopard people are vibrant and indulgent in every sense. They favor furs and lavish clothing dyed in rich golds, reds, and oranges. Ruled by the Thavek Family, they reign over the Canopy District. Canopy consists of a lush, tropical jungle blooming with exotic flora and fauna. Most of The Wilds food originates from the abundance of crops and fruit that the Canopy Districts nourishes.
Leopard-born are agile, with golden eyes and subtle, feline markings on their skin. Their powers grant them extraordinary senses, speed, and the ability to drain other's powers to enhance their own. Their society celebrates abundance, feasting, and dominance.
