i think part of their tech is they have goggles that let them see the bad vibes kind of in the form of spirits and when they suck the badvibes out of the spirits the spirits are restored to friendly looking ones
example: its a big scary ghoul, it gets badvibes sucked out, and now it looks like a bunny :)
