Kate and Arianna: A Love Story

Arianna’s stomach bubbled as she approached her new boss’ door. The folder in her hands was covered in scribbled notes and post-it’s of all colors stuck from the corner. She knocked. “Excuse me? It’s your new lawyer.”

"Come inn!"

She stepped into the room. “Hello! I’m the new attorney. I’m going to be working with you for this case.”

Kate smiled. "Glad to have you here!"

Woah. Kate is attractive.

She held out her hand. “Arianna Eleanor.”

Kate took her hand gently. "Kaitlyn Hardy, please to meet you Ms. Eleanor!"

“I’m excited to work together! I’ve heard so many great things about your work.”

"I've heard many great things about your work!"

Arianna blushed. “Oh. You’re too sweet.”

Kate grinned. "Just the truth!"

“Well, did you have a strategy for how to get this case to go well?”

"Uhh roughly. I'm no lawyer of course, but I did what I could to help your job be a little easier!"

“Oh? Do tell!” Arianna looked around for a chair.

Kate pulled a chair over from the side, setting it down beside Kate. She patted it gently. "Take a seat!"
