Down to the Depths

Onni approached the Gossiping Grannies again. "Alright. Let's see if this works for us again."

Sylvie nodded quietly.

Like clockwork one of the grannies started up again. “I think we need to talk about how Curtis is doing.”

Sylvie gasped. "You don't think?"

Onni shrugged. “Maybe. Let’s not get our hopes-“

One of the other grannies scoffed. “I know! He’s such a nervous nelly. And as soon as Micheal comes around the corner, he takes off in a dead sprint.”

Sylvie gasped. "Okay that can't possibly be a coincidence there. Who else would run from Michael. Especially at a dead sprint. Given everyone seems so happy and cheerful here it seems unlikely there's terror or anything to make you run, so it must be-"

Onni leaned up to gently kiss her. “Sorry. You just sounded so smart. And looked so cute. I had to kiss you.”

Sylvie flushed bright red. "Oh..ohh..ohh." Her train of thought was derailed in an intant. Onni was a little too powerful when ey did that.

She spluttered for a few more moments and promptly just collapsed towards Onni. Was she trying to fish for another kiss before they had to go complete this challenge? Maybe. I wasn't like anyone was going to be able to prove anything.

Onni squealed, promptly falling to the floor with Sylvie on top of em. “Why, hello there.” Ey grinned.

Sylvie squealed right along with em. "He..hello there." She had not expected to just collapse on the floor on top of Onni, but this position seemed like a very comfortable one so Sylvie was absolutely not going to complain. She immediately burrowed into em. If she could steal some cuddles in addition to those kisses, well who could possibly complain about an arrangement like that.

Onni pouted. “Is there a reason you just threw me to the ground?”

Sylvie just cuddled deeper and let out a small whine. "Y..you... kissed. Me. Out the blue. S.. startled. Happily. Happily startled of course but still caught me off guard and I... I jus collapsed from the pain." Sylvie's voice dropped to a whisper. "Just... Just maybe I also wanted a hug... and. And another kiss from you."

Onni leaned up to press eir lips to Sylvie’s.

Sylvie immediately melted into Onni. Mission Accomplished and oh this was so good. She curled into Onni some more, not even caring where they were or the fact that they had to now go and actually follow up on the lead by those grandmas.

Onni wrapped eir arms around Sylvie, holding her as close as ey could. She was what kept em sane these past two months. She was eir driftwood when Onni was lost at sea, eir oasis in the desert. Sure, Ey still missed Mia with every part of em. But ey loved Sylvie so much for staying close.
