Memento Mori

Thank you
The sadness drains through me rather than skating over my skin. It travels through every cell to reach the ground. I filter it yet strangely enough, I keep what was pure and it is the dirt that leaves.

Hey @fishre! I would love to review your piece, but it's a bit long for me! (50 pages in fact) I have a limited time to review in, and I want to make sure I give you a full and well-thought-out review, so if you could split it into smaller pieces (preferably under 5 thousand words) or find a smaller piece you want me to review, that'd be swell!

It’s fifty pages? Haha. Wow, didn’t realize. I’ll split them up into two parts between the dates. Would that suffice?

I quickly made this but its a very short poem. Please critique my prose!

@Fishr
I think three pieces would be best, that way, each one stays below the five thousand word mark!

Loved getting harsh feedback from my essay-fanatic friends in high school. Let's see what you've got for my short story.
A Warm Embrace

He began to wonder why he had felt uneasy at all. It was like a man wondering in broad daylight why a dream had appeared so terrible to him at night.
