When Christmas comes in August, it happens over a weekend and across two days. This year, Christmas came on August 13th and August 14th (by GMT time).

Overall, 299 people participated and those 299 gave out a total of 6,178 gifts. By comparison, only 5,110 gifts were given out from November 2009 (when the gifts feature was added) through August 12th, 2011. Of course, it helps that gifts now only cost 50 points each, but it's still a remarkable achievement. By the way, gifts will continue to cost only 50 points each.

The top 10 gifters were:

1. JabberHut: 544
2. Hannah: 508
3. Kitty15: 381
4. Nate: 339
5. Demeter: 231
6. Lava: 176
7. Stella Thomas: 174
8. Rosey Unicorn: 143
9. Kyllorac: 135
10. Ranger Hawk: 126

Also, 1,152 people received gifts this weekend.

The top 10 gifts were:

1. Tanuki suit Mario (371)
2. Cat with the blue ball of string (263)
3. Weird star icon that looks like a starfish (244)
4. Lotus flower (the red flower) (212)
5. Grey Monster with blue tongue (199)
6. Pink ghost monster with horns (190)
7. Blue butterfly (163)
8. Cute tiger (160)
9. Link (150)
10. Ice cream chocolate bar (146)

As a final gift, I've made sure that everyone has at least 150 points now. So, celebrate!

Easily one of the most amusing things ever.

I wonder how badly everyone wanted to give Galerius a fluffy bunny gift.

I'm sure I helped with that one, with my username... (I got 20 of them)

That was fun!

Still want to write a story about the mouse in the bowler hat in the puddle.
I am reminded of the babe by you.

I recommend Christmas during Christmas! No one would ever see it coming!
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
