So in your user profiles and in clubs, there's a feature called the Wall similar to Facebook's. Only problem, apparently Facebook trademarked it!

It's very unlikely that I'd ever receive a message from Facebook about it, and I'm not even sure if we're infringing or not. But regardless, I rather come up with a new term that isn't trademarked.

So, instead of calling the comments section of profiles and clubs the Wall, what should we call it?

Just throw out a bunch of ideas! But keep in mind it should be one word. If it's two words, then it has to be two short words. Three words is probably out of the question.

CALLIGRAFEED.

Or just go back to the good ol' guestbook.

EDIT: Actually, Scribbles is sounding more fun the more I think about it. Makes me want to play Scrabble. Which is actually appropriate for YWS!

Notebook?

Edit: Going off of Jagged's idea, instead of posting comments, we could scribble?

i.e. "X has scribbled in your notebook" as opposed to "X has posted a comment on your wall"

That's the spirit, Jabs! It's unfortunate that this isn't a feed, thus making that fabulous title unlikely. :(

Scribbles is cool. I also like Ink-Splatters, but if that's too long, maybe just Ink-Drops. If you can't tell, I'm all for a writerly, unique-sounding name, but if we want to stay simple maybe The Screen or back to Guestbook.

EDIT: I like the "x has scribbled in your Notepad" idea. Or Notebook. Either way!

EDIT 2: Or maybe The Gab or Chatter.
"Let's eat, Grandma!" as opposed to "Let's eat Grandma!": punctuation saves lives.

I like the Gab, it sounds like The Wall and also points out what we do on it. Scribbles I'm not so fond of, it doesn't sound right saying I posted on the scribbles, but I posted on The Gab, now that works.

I agree with Paladin and Evi. I believe the Gab has a ring to it.
Though Scribbles is a good idea for the scribbling factor, it just wouldn't sound right.

I didn't come up with anything new, but I'm not a fan of the Gab. It sounds way too slang for my liking. And honestly, I immediately think of garbage. xD It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. "Hey, Iiiiiiiiisha! I totally posted on your Gab." I'm not a fan of it.

I'm very partial to the notepad/notebook idea though.

Evi >> Then how about Calligrawall? xD

EDIT: It kind of sounds like I'm picking on people for liking Gab, so let me clarify. xD I'm also not a fan of Chatter. And my brain can't wrap around the Screen. xD *doesn't get it* I thought some of the ideas that refer to writing were good though. Maybe that's not what we want though? Perhaps we want something obscure, and I'm just a lame butt. Whatever we choose, I'll be happy with. :)
