This was something originally brought up in the Pay to Post thread. Usually, I solicit opinion first from the mods and then the JMs, but seeing as how it was originally brought up in the Info Desk, it makes sense just to continue the discussion here.

So anyhow, here's the idea as originally brought up by Bolt: bring back pay to post to storybooks.

Here's the proposal:
- New storybooks cost 500 points to create

By forcing storybook creators to pay to post a new storybook, it should lead to a marked decrease in the amount of new storybooks that get started but die after only a few days. So if you agree/disagree, spout forth you opinion. If there's no significant disagreement, it's something I'll institute within the next couple of days.

I say aye. And I also say aye to the idea about paying to join (if it's somehow possible). That would cut down the number of half-hearted SBers who just quit once it really gets underway. I hate that. :P

Mine as well. Also I think that other users, not just the creator, should have to pay for their first post in the topic.

Agrees.
Edit-I'm half and half with paying flr the first post. I do think it might be a good idea if people have to pay for their profile creating posts. But, I'm guessing, it'll be tough to implement.
