Kyllorac has been kind enough to create a sitemap for YWS:
sitemap.php

Love it, cherish it, and be sure to thank Kyllorac for it! It's accessible under the YWS start button.

Wow! Thanks Ky!

(Oh, by the way, I just noticed that when I clicked on 'My Feed' and 'My Profile' on the sitemap, it led me to the index/home page of YWS - is that supposed to happen...?)

My name. It is so visible and there at the top of the page. *flails*

But Nate! You forgot to add in the links for My Profile and My Feed at the top of the list. :o As Navita already pointed out. XD

Kamas! You wound me with your doubting and contrariness. I should have known better to expect more from a spork-lover. :P

For the descriptions, I think it would be easy to copy and paste the forum description.

Sitemaps serve two purposes:
1) To make it easier to navigate on a site
2) Help Google

On the first, it can simply make it easier to find stuff. Don't know where the novel forums are? Go to the sitemap. If it doesn't sound helpful to you, just keep in mind that you're not everyone! One of the problems with web design is designing a navigational structure for everyone; a sitemap helps alleviate that by providing choice.

On the second, Google loves sitemaps. By having links to all the important pages on one page, it makes it easier for Google to index the site. And the easier you make things for Google, the bigger the reward. Since 40% of YWS' traffic comes from Google, it literally pays to keep Google happy.
