I don't know why I decided to do this, but I did. I'm a bard and I find writing poetry easy, it's writing good poetry that's hard.

I have an idea for LMS
A poem about a girl running from TBD to TBD and encounters many adversaries
As you can see I have much determining to do

Hi Lives4Christ! I'm super interested in your poem idea above. Do you think that's just one of the poems you'll write, or will that be a theme that all of your LMS poems fall under? Either one would be really interesting I think!

Lives4Christ I love the idea of travel and fighting against foes as a central theme for a poem topic or poem series, and wish you the best of luck in this thread! It looks like you're still working out some of the details, and that's certainly part of the fun -- filling in all the blank spaces. Also excited that you're doing this in the poetry side of things!

I think I'll do a series of poems about this and I've decided that the girl is running from kidnappers who kidnapped her as a child and is running to a major city called Kingsgate and will try to locate her family that she can barely remember.

Oh, that's interesting that you're doing this as a series of poems! Of course I know that Bards can participate in LMS but during our write-in last night I just assumed it was a novel. Do you feel any better about the theme you've chosen now, or are you still feeling a little weird about it?

Well, it'll be cool to try something new! I'm glad you're sticking with it, even though it's still a little scary.

Ooh, your idea for a theme sounds really interesting! Do you have any idea what kind of world this girl will be from? Will it be our world, or maybe a fantasy world? Any ideas for adventures she might have along the way or places she might visit?

And it's okay to be a little intimidated! You don't know how you'll do until you try, and it might be hard at first, but you'll start getting better at it really quickly. I'm excited to see what you come up with.

I think she'll be from an alternative world, not exactly a fantasy world, but definitely different from our world.
