The thing is ... YWS is pretty diverse. It's not like everyone here's from the same country. So you can't really take a law from one country and use it and say you're using it because it's The Law. *shrugs* That's my opinion.

Anyway, I reckon Nate does a great job at running this place.

I agree that Nate does a good job. I don't think that anyone can slate him. However, I don't understand why exactly Psylynx was banned...

I agree with TBR - he writes amazing poetry and is a very talented dude. And personally, I thought he had a hell of a lot of interesting things to say. Yes, some of it was maybe sometimes pushing the bounderies a little...but isn't that what writing is about? Isn't that freedom of speech?

But that's just my opinion...

A private company can infringe on your right to free speech as much as it wants within the company. This means that myspace can delete 200,000 objectionable accounts and YWS can ban users who have used objectionable language.

Psylynx was warned, banned once before, and now banned for good. There's a three strikes law here. Many times exceptions are made; actually in every single case except for one where the user posted porn.

And geez, you haven't even been here for a week.

EDIT: Checked the IP and LymphaticRebellion = Psylynx. Ugh.

Psylynx was banned for using vulgar language in normal forums. His most recent ban came about because he was flaming a new member (which incidentally is why he got banned once before, and something I really don't tolerate when it involves a new member). He's also been warned twice in the past, and I'm not inclined to let him back because of stuff like this.
