I am looking for opinions of the first plot I've come up with in a while. It would be appreciated if you were to help me out with this. (Mods, if need be feel free to move it to a more appropriate thread.)
Unnamed (Main Character A / MCA) is a bystander to Katherin's (Main Character B / MCB) life. No-one knows she is there or that she exists.
MCB's life is falling apart, everything is going awry. This is punctuated by a near death experience that comes in the form of being hit by a vehicle of sorts (bus[?], car[?]). After this experience, MCA starts to be able to communicate with MCB. MCB thinks this is some sort of lunacy caused by the accident.
In MCA's attempt to find out who/what she is and why she's there, she inadvertently ends up helping MCB put her life back together and overcome the aftermath of the accident.
At the end, a huge secret about MCB is revealed, leaving the possibility of a sequel.
