Accepting Character Sketch Requests

This seems to be popular right now, so I figured I would try it!
I can do digital or traditional, but be warned that my work is highly stylized unless requested otherwise. (If you're very concerned, please use a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being very realistic, and 10 being closer to anime and newspaper comics.)

As for characters, I just need a description and any posing requests. I will likely ask for more details, as well as post pre-sketches as the work continues. Backgrounds can be done, but I prefer not to. Also, since this isn't my studio art, I'll tend to avoid heavy contrast in shading (it messes up my scanning procedure).

If there is a particular style you would like to see, just ask! I can examine its structures and patterns to adapt it.

I'd like to have my character, Hawk drawn. If you don't mind I think I'll just be quoting the description passage from his story.

He knew himself off by heart and could trace the lines of his face even in his sleep: floppy black hair, as normal as could be. A pale face with high cheekbones and well-sculpted features. And his eyes … his unnerving, almost frightening eyes…

He had always been daunted by them, even when he was young. No one had eyes like his, he knew. They seemed unreal – alien, somehow; a vivid green-gold with a tiny silver swirl at the edge of his irises. If you were to look closer, you would see the silver making a pattern, changing constantly according to the emotions he was experiencing at the time. And right now, a flame was dancing within them, like a gypsy – something that was out of his control.

He's 5'11", and lean but muscular.
And he's very sarcastic. Just so you know. ^_^

Anyway, if you're not doing any more drawing anymore over here, it's OK. Just thought I'd pop by and revive this thread in case you did.

Oh yeah, @Pompadour, I'll probably be drawing as long as I live, so I'm happy to draw Hawk for you! One question though: would you prefer if I did this digitally or traditionally?

Could I ask for a drawing?
I don't really care if it's digital or traditional. Well, I really don't care about much just so long as it's a picture of Karisha. So any pose you want, color it or don't color it (I will provide colors in case you want to color it), realistic or manga, none of it really matters to me so take it where you want.

Karisha is about 14. She has long dark brown hair. It's thick and slightly wavy, usually pulled back in a high(ish) ponytail. Her eyes are blue. She's about average hight, maybe a little on the short side.
She wears a fancier medieval dress. It's somewhere between sky blue and sea blue. It has white and gold trim. Her ponytail is usually held by either a blue or white ribbon.
She is generally pretty happy and kind, so chances are she's smiling.

I'm really not sure what to say past that. I'm hoping seeing someone else's interpretation of her will help me define her appearance a little better.

This is Finn.
Physical Description: Toned, tan legs. Brown hair long enough to be moved by a breeze. Normal height, brown eyes, in shape/fit, average weight. 5'7".
And if you'd be so kinda as to draw Olivia, his girlfriend, as well?
Physical Description: 5'1", wavy brown hair down to her shoulders, average build, average weight, green eyes.
I'd say semi-realistic. If you need any other ideas/information here's the short story I wrote that they are in. Here's the story!

Can I request a character? Or...like four? What is my limit, here? They're all from the same story. And on the scale of one to ten I guess I'd like about maybe a five? Not hyper-realistic, but not completely manga-ish either. Poses and everything would be up to you...so just message me or something and let me know and then I'll give you descriptions?

(P.S. You are my favorite because you are doing this. Shh, don't tell the others.)
