Capture the Flag

OK I am one for really wacky and stupid ideas so this is probably the worst idea I have ever had. But I am also a very open person so I want to share it with all my fellow YWS-ers.

What if YWS played a giant game of Capture the Flag?

Two teams.
Each team has like five flags that match their team colour. Which different people hide in different pieces of their literature, blogs or Forums.

When you find the flag of someone on the opposite team you can “steal” it by PMing the person who hide it and they have to remove it from the post. Then it is declared to the whole YWS world that one of the flags has been captured. Then you go hide it for safe keeping because someone from the opposite team could come and steal it back from you. When your team has possession of all 5 of the enemy flags in their possession you win!

So that is my horrible idea. Please let me know what you think about it

Have a nice day

Interesting idea Lottery but it needs a bit of work. Like how are you going to organise all the team member.

Its easy just get permit-ion from Nate and its done. If he approves.

Which he might.

Good idea.
There seems to be nothing written here.

I don't think you'd need permission to do that! In fact, it sounds like a lot of fun if we get enough people to play along!

This sounds like a good idea-how would we know where the flags are? And we could easily do this through clubs.

Oh yay! This sounds like fun. :) I'd recommend a thread in the lounge for it. That way more new players could see it more easily than in clubs. :)
you can message me with anything: questions, review requests, rants
are you a green room knight yet?
have you read this week's Squills?

We shouldn't post in the thread or clubs where the flags are though, perhaps there should be a team leader for each game that can mass PM all of their team members to tell them where the flags are. Maybe there should be a new leader every round or if it takes a long time, every week.

Yeah that would probably be a good idea. That way they can organise who does what.

I'm so in. That sounds like so much fun! So are we gonna set up teams? When do we start?
