A formatting problem?

With the update in submitting work and the new 'Publishing Center' I have come across something that happens to irritate me a lot and I was wondering if anyone else shared my feelings.
As many of you may have noticed you now have to shift-enter if you only want to skip one line instead of two, this can be bothersome but it is not the main thing that I am talking about here. The new formatting has reformatted every past work as well. Anywhere where someone may have new lined or dialogue, or written proper stanzas in poetry has now been spread out in a very eyesore fashion. All of my poems have been messed up like this and it is tedious for me to have to go back and shift-enter edit every line.

Has this already been raised? I have not seen it around anywhere yet. Is anyone else frustrated at the reformatting of past works?
Hahah....haha.....ahahaha.

I have the same problem Blackie...

@Nate, is there a way to solve this?

for instance:
I'm trying to post a poem, and the longer lines are being bumped down to another line. I have stanzas in there and they aren't showing up, and it's doing the big spacey thing between each line.
Also, for prose, I can't do indents for speech

Also experiencing formatting issues where I will have it properly formatted in a .doc and click on the preserve whitespace button, and have it mess it up o.o

It does a better job if I were to copy and paste it, but then I have to remove the double spaces and shift-enter everything. Also, having trouble indenting. But my past works look untouched? Hmm. That is strange.

I'll play around with it some more and see if I can find other workarounds? Who knows, it might even be a browser thing? O.o I felt like the beta-version was working fine.

I have that problem too. See Cherries. (Although it hasn't broken the site for me or anything. Just made me sad.)

Can someone please fix this. I just submitted my first non-poetry and whenever I have dialogue It goes and skips a whole line. Even Shift-enter doesn't work anymore. I am really frustrated. It leaves this huge chasm between speech marks. It looks really ugly and is technically incorrect.
Please @Nate, hear my plea.

The best place for this is bug reports. Be sure to also mention information about your browser, If it turns out all of you are using the same browser, then Nate would know it was a browser problem. With the new publishing center, you can also upload a document instead of copy and pasting or typing directly into the text box. You might want to give that a try!
Review unto others as you would have others review unto you.

Don't panic!
