I haven't joined yet. (Still deciding/probably going to) But I have an idea, I've read the intro and plot and I have an idea for what the notebooks could be doing for a start.

I think the notebooks could be leading them, each one of them to their own individual roles in finding out about who's stealing what. I was thinking that maybe the notebooks could have been the one sort of leading them to even finding each other. At least I'd love to do that for my character. (If I have one. XP)

Haha, sorry if that has already been said/meant, but I just thought to share it.

And I am wondering, is the train ride what takes them to the magical world, or is the whole story based in a magical world? Because I think it would be cool to have the real world and then the magical, but I'm not sure, and don't mind either way. But I do get the picture that wherever they go on that train ride is more magical than where they started off.

Also though I was wondering what words were being stolen and why they are important? Or is that the plot that is coming later? I think that's the most confusing part for me.

This is a great storybook! I really want to join, but I want to make sure I understand it/can do a good job at it. XD Love the idea though, in fact I'm having so many ideas because of it.

I won't just keep you guys hanging after a reply I'll try to decide whether or not I should join. Also I have a lot of SBs, but anyways, I wanted to share. ^^

Yep, notebooks are what lead them. First to the object, and the train, which in a sense is leading them to each other, since they're all on the train together.

And once they do figure out what's going on, it's by help of the notebooks. So yes, what you said is what I thought but didn't properly say.

And they start out in the normal, real, non-magic word. The train takes them to the magic world, which is, yes, more magic than our world.

And we will find out later who the words are being taken by and why they're being taken. Not yet.

But I will tell you that the words are the only written words on earth. As in, if they don't send the words, no one on earth will be able to write. They can still have spoken words, but no written words without the ones from the magic world. Does that make any sense?
hopefully it will all come together more as we go on.

Ah, that does make sense about the words! I understand more now. Okay then, I think that I would like to join it! I'll have my character up soon. XD

Hey, so I've debated this for a while, but I'm going to make a second (male) character. That should help with the boy/girl ratio a bit.

And I've turned in my character and he's a boy.

Awesomeness! I meant to start this yesterday... but now things have gotten pretty busy.

So I may try and make a beginning post tonight, or maybe we'll wait a few days and give everyone else a chance to join.

I'll be going on a trip out of town Tuesday or Wednesday and I won't be able to post for a while because I won't have internet. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but I'll post as soon as I can if its started by the time I get back.

So maybe I should start tonight so you can get a chance to post?

I've completed mine, but I wanna let ya'll know I brought someone else into the mix a bit. It's mainly so I had something to play with and he won't ruin anything for any of the other characters I don't think. Unless he's needed for some conflict. I don't even think he'll ruin anything for my character. It was just to add something interesting, and because otherwise my character wouldn't (probably) have believed it was magic even if he couldn't write in it. XP So yeah.

Also, I need some ideas for the Word World, since I don't think that's the best name for a world, and for whatever reason my creativity fails me. So, write any and all ideas here and we can vote on them or something.

I'm loving this beginning.

And I like Writer'sDream's idea, that if someone else touches the notebook it displays the owner's name and erases any previous words.
