For whom: Me, I want a theme song. General Feel: Medium speed, ethereal, mechanical. Strange. Other preferences: Guitar, clicks of a mechanical typewriter, gears clattering. Try to avoid standard techno/heavily synthesized sounds, think analog, not digital. Other: I'm mostly curious to see what you'll come up, so everything is up to your discretion. For whom (character, SB, setting, other, etc)?: For a Buddy-System character xD General Feel (happy, sad, fast/slow-paced, etc -- try to be detailed): Hm.. Maybe a mix of happy and slow and sometimes sad at points, particulary kind of like the background of an Ed Sheeran song-- but DOES NOT have to be his music because his voice annoys me. I don't know how to describe this. xD Maybe this'll help? Other preferences (instrument or something, note that I don't have literally every sound at my disposal): Drum beat, maybe a little bit of guitar and piano. :3 Other (just plain other, if you feel the need to add something): Acacia is an only child, and her parents recently died (thats her background) so if you can somehow make that sad-noticable trait build in there that would be lovely! Ok guys, I suppose I will reopen this. I will do my best to create music for you guys. If any of you who have commented on this previously would still like their theme done, reply and I will get to it. Please note there are some instruments I lack, I will specify what those are when/if the issue arises.
For whom (character, SB, setting, other, etc)?: A setting! I have this kind of post-apocalyptic, dystopian setting in my mind where everything is permanently grey. A bit like a combination of the Hunger Games (in the districts) and (if you've ever played it) Haven City in the Jak and Daxter series.
General Feel (happy, sad, fast/slow-paced, etc -- try to be detailed): Moderate to slow pace - sad. A similar feel to the first verse in this song but not as much piano. (If that makes sense? I like the simplicity)
Other preferences (instrument and genre, note that I don't have literally every sound at my disposal, especially acoustic sounds): I was thinking a general acoustic guitar. Maybe an extremely light drum track. Very simple... not necessarily just sad. But not happy. As you see fit

Imagine a middle-school-age girl, long hair, in a trench coat. General Feel (happy, sad, fast/slow-paced, etc -- try to be detailed): Up beat, not too intense, happy Other preferences (instrument and genre, note that I don't have literally every sound at my disposal, especially acoustic sounds): I really want the repeating sequence of C-C-C-E-E-A-C-C. C-C-C-E-E-A-C-C. (or if you want it in a different key, just transpose or whatever) Like a heart beat. I'd also like it if you began and ended with just those simple notes. Don't care what instruments, but cellos are always cool. Other (just plain other, if you feel the need to add something): The color purple. make that visible in the music. And golden-yellow. For whom: NaNoWriMo is coming up and I thought I'd get some theme music to go along with the story I'm writing. If I'm doing NaNo, anyways... Still haven't fully decided yet.
General Feel: The story takes place in an insane asylum (wow, sounds cheesy when I put it like that) and there's this weird mystery going on, blah blabbity blah, people are dying, ooooh but the murderer is saying 'it's' not them but whaaat huh mysteries omg insanity omg plot twist omg deception omg huh murder huh death what insanity?? Yeah. That stuff. The creepy dark mysterious music that I know you can do. hurhur.
Other preferences: I suppose I'd prefer a darker, quieter sound (not like heavy rock or anything, lol). Other than that, let your imagination take you away!
