You're an animal living in an enclosure filled with other animals. You vaguely remember being human, but it's foggy. You notice that all of the animals are speaking to each other, regardless or species. There is an unlimited supply of meat for carnivores, and limitless greens for vegetarians. You start to wonder if maybe this isn't a bad place after all. Everyone keeps calling the place "Expression."

Spoiler
Rules: First, no cursing at all. I despise cursing with a wild hatred and I would rather not tolerate it.
Next, no killing other animals if you're a carnivore. We're all just trying to have a good time, and we don't need people's characters dying.
You may choose any animal in the animal kingdom. If you fancy an aquatic animal, there is a water tank for both salt and fresh water creatures.
Please name your character and what animal they are to avoid confusion.
Final rule, have fun!

(Noir/Hyena)

He sat up slowly, shaking his head. "Ow," he muttered. "My head really hurts." He looked around at all of the other animals in the green enclosed room. The ground beneath his was hardwood, and there were places to sleep against the walls. The room was enormous.

'Man, What is this place! I'm freaking out dude!" I had no idea what was going on... Hey that guy is waking up... He's saying something, I think. It was hard to tell. "I like frilly skirts?" hmm maybe he's still in shock. Either way I can understand him! "Hey. Hey You. Yeah Hyena guy, What is up! ... Do you know what's going on?" maybe he will, 'cause I sure don't. He seems to be in a better state than I was when got here. He looks nauseous, maybe I should ask him if he requires any sustenance. yeah, good plan. "Dude, You hungry?"

"What the-?" Noir looked around himself, seeing his fur. "Well, this is just great. What is this place?" His stomach rumbled loudly. "And where can I get something to eat?"

Prim/Tiger

A hissing sound came from an unknown area in the room. Everything was blury, and I didn't know where I was. I finally woke up and saw there was a bird pecking at me. "Shoo!!" I growled. I then realized I was the one hissing. I looked down at my four legs, orange and stripped. What had happened? I knew something was off, my sences told me, but they didn't make sense.

Seeq, Otter

"Slippery ol' fish," I muttered, and rolled over... to find myself immersed in metallic-tasting water. That woke me up in a hurry!

I found myself in a strange place- surrounded by unnatural greenery. There appeared to be a hyena and a wolf nearby, which I thought more than a little odd. "Well. This isn't Waterland, obviously."

Noir saw the otter and and watched it swim around. I wonder if he's like me. No idea where we are and no memory of how I got here.
He also saw a large tiger standing nearby. I guess there isn't a limit on what people get turned into.
He stopped near the tiger. "Hi, there," he introduced. "I'm Noir. Do you know where we are?"

Night/Persian

I opened my eyes blearily. The first sensation I noticed was how exceedingly hot it was. I yawned and stood, looking around for the control for the air conditioner. That's weird, I thought my floor was carpet not wood...

I looked to my feet. Black, furry, paws. In an unreal sense, I slowly extended my claws. Awesome. I was a cat. Probably a long-furred kind, considering how I was sweltering. I had a strong desire to look in a mirror.

I think I had cats back when I was human, if that wasn't just a dream. They ate, slept, primpe, and had attitude problems. A grin spread across my face. This was going to be fun...

I strode up to the hyena and the tiger, and batted the hyena on the shoulder with one paw to get his attention. When he turned angrily, I just smiled. "Hi. Or should I say meow?"

Now there was a black cat talking to the hyena. Interesting.

I ran along the "bank" but was stopped forcefully by something. Something hard and invisible. I sat up, eyes watering and snout smarting.

"That looked like it hurt."

Noir glared at the black cat. Oh, do that again. I dare you. "Hi, there. I'm Noir. The wolf is Theta. Do you know where we are?" Why does nobody know where we are or what this place is? I hope I still have all my organs...

He examined himself quickly, then sighed when he finished. No scars or wounds of any kind. That's always a plus.

(Kismet / Lioness)

"What is with all of the noise?" I demanded, not even fully awake yet, my eyes remaining tightly shut. And that brought an unsettling thought; how had all of these noisy people gotten into my house? My blood pressure rising, I tried to get up and found that my limbs weren't working properly. I crashed back down onto the...floor?

Inching open one eye, I found myself staring at a room full of animals -- an otter, a cat, a...TIGER?

I screamed and tried to scramble backward, but I just ended up flailing around on the floor like a spastic crab. I forced myself to calm, since the animals didn't seem to be interested in me.

That's when I noticed my paws.
I aim to misbehave.

Oh, cool, a lion, too. Cats seem to be popular with whoever made us. She was completely flipping out, though, so I just strolled over and tilted my head inquisitivley. "There's really no need to act like that. This place doesn't seem bad." I looked around. A few of the other animals seemed to be listening. Emboldened, I continued, "This place doesn't seem bad. There isn't anybody hurting us, and if somebody tries too," I smiled sweetly at the lioness. "Well, you'll have no trouble kicking his sorry behind." I yawned. "As for me, now that I'm a cat, I want to start acting like one. Time for a nap."

One of the other animals, I didn't bother to note which one, said in confusion, "But you just woke up."

"I know. I'm a cat."
