yeah, how about a general elective, like french, cooking, woodshop, a tech. class, etc.?

Problems as in, Altaira is contracted to capture everyone else. Once that's done, if it gets done, then her contractor's will betray and capture her for her parents.

...In her profile, you made her seem loyal to those who escaped the lab as well. I don't quite get how the above fits in with that trait. Not only that, though it's a good idea, it strays from the plot slightly. The teens are supposed to be the victims, the protagonists, and the adults are supposed to be the antagonists. When I talked with you before, I thought this came to an understanding.
Minor problems, as Sourdude said, would be fine. I just don't necessarily like this one. Sourdude, your thoughts?

She isn't loyal to them right from the beginning, yes the adults are the antagonists, that's why I plan to have the contractors betray her and then later find out her parents were using her.

I agree with LuckyTurtle. It seems like to far a stray from the plot. Good idea, but a little far.

Alright then, but answer me this since you guys put my idea down. Do you have any villain's to push the plot along? Yea there are the adults, but who will be the first to begin to capture the teens. The idea I proposed would have solved that plus kept the plot moving instead of everyone staying in one place for three or four pages of the SB, cause the way I predict it, there's going to be little to no conflict the first five or six pages. And it's a very dull way to start things out in my opinion.

I see your point. I figured LuckyTurtle would do something, like have a teacher secretely be one of the people trying to catch us or something.

MM, what happened to just trusting me? As Sourdude said, I have something up my sleeve. There are beginnings, there are middles, and there are ends to every story. The beginning will not be dull. Beginnings serve the sole purpose of introducing the setting, characters, and basic plot. If you don't want to go about things like that, I don't know what to tell you.
i'm pretty sure it said directly in the plot that the adults after the teens are disguised as teachers around them. If not, I apologize; but why else would the majority of things happen in a school? Your idea, MM, would have pushed the plot along, yes, but after it was said and done it would have killed it as well.

Altaira doesn't even try to fit in, she'd sooner be seen as a freak than fit in.

At my school it's called RTIE. Basically, you sign up for a class that's pure enjoyment(like guitar, computers, archery) and go to it every day unless a teacher has called you in to make up work of some sort. We could all be signed up for the same class and communicate there. This would also work if you wanted the teachers to mess with the students minds. Just an idea! c:<
