So, suggestion time, Altaira's parents are the scientists who experimented on everybody, hired abductors to snatch everyone. And planned to use each of them for certain purposes. Like one would be a war machine, another an assassin, another a future teller, etc, etc.

Wow Arah, I do believe our characters can become quick friends, and maybe later have a relationship between them.

We will be starting on Friday. Sourdude will make the first post and everyone else will follow.
That being said, all profiles need to be finished and posted by Friday morning. We have two more slots to fill, preferably one female and one male if CreativeIntentions' character is a female. If not, two females.
You may start discussing relationships between characters, but none of them are supposed to know each other yet. They may have seen each other around the school/town once or twice, but they know very little if anything about them. Going along with that, Ewan is open to any relationship/friendship.
If worse comes to worse and we don't have both slots filled by Friday or we have only one left open, I'll take a second character and we'll just go ahead with things as planned.
On the topic of schedules, you may create your character's own. Doesn't matter. Just be sure that their classes match their grade and that you have at least one class with each other character. Everyone will have the same lunch, though, and there will be one class which everyone is in as well, though it has yet to be decided.
